Big K/Shoko,
I have a relatively slow cable connection, hence there is a lot of interuptions in the video.

For this reason, I've not really been following this program. Is there anyway this can be addressed for people like me who have a relatively slow connection? It appears I get better result when I view the NTA broadcasts.

Is it possible to compress the videos and put it up in two formats, one for higher connections and one for slower one?

Thanks (Sorry for the bother!)

Admin,

Is it possible to put the video in a way that one can download it then watch it playing from the hard disk rather than streaming? This might help alleviate some difficulty watching it.

Cheers! Great program as usual; I'm always excited to see what's coming next.

Eezee,
Lucky you. I guess you must have a faster connection. I've not been able to watch the episodes. As for not being able to download to the hard disc, it might be a delibrate safeguard against copyright infringement.

I wonder if these productions is being aired on TV. If not , why not?

Btw, do you know something about Animations??. I'm wondering why there are no cheap Nigerian productions of japanese style animies/cartoons out there. Or are there?

Thanks

DeepThought,

Good point. I'm anxious to resolve this for two reasons:

1. People who have slower connections will be able to watch the video;

2. It will reduce our bandwidth usage.

I've listed this as one of the things I need to research. I'll let you know when I arrive at a solution.

Cheers, and thanks for the feedback.

Good news - I've been able to find some software which I believe will address the problem of video interruptions by reducing the size of the video file. I've put the matter on the table of the Oga Patapata, so we'll have to wait for a response from him.

DeepThought, would you mind testing the slimmed down video file if you were asked to do so?

This is really good. I'm happy to see some Nigeria out there who are doing all they can to make that country great. I hope our politicians ( I hate to call them leaders) would wake up to their responsibilities.

It was also good to see OAU again. That brought back some good memories. I hope they won't kill the dreams of these people like they did some of us.

PS. Osondu where you dey now, give me e-mail. Great Ife!

Deepthought,

We will make versions available for "deep-thinking" computers like yours before the next episode coming out this friday.

Hope you'll act as tester for that version.

I decided to commend you here since I critiqued the latest edition. I absolutely LOVED Tolu in this feature, she is so real and relatable. The kind of nigerian girl Im sure most of us would love to have in our retinue of friends! Very well spoken and articulate (without all the forced britico b.s.), informative on relevant issues blah and so forth, even the photographer and his work was ingenious. I would love to have a shoot with him if his fees are not like 'wow'! Moreso, a great interview is as a result of a great interviewER - probing with the necessary queries to accomplish whatever theme or subject is at hand.

Please use these same interviewers and fly them out to Yankee if you must, not these random model chics that publicise themselves on infinite number of cheap websites.
