Pastor to Buhari: Shut down BBNaija now or I’ll use my spiritual power to do so/ Elebena Chukwu

The Pastor of Jehovah the Mightier than all Ministry, Elebena Chukwu, has threatened to use his spiritual power to shutdown the 2020 edition of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show if President Muhammadu Buhari refuses to do so.

There have been dusts over the commencement of the show on July 19 amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Weighing into the issue, the clergyman, in a viral video, questioned the Federal Government’s decision for allowing airing of the show while schools remained closed across the country.

He described the show as a platform for immorality which constitutes danger to children who are exposed to them.

His words: “If Nigerian government does not shut BBNaija down, l will shut it down by force. With spiritual capability, l can do it.

“I know who I am; I’m not a prophet that is boasting. With my spiritual level, I will destroy BBNaija; I’ll use my spiritual power on them.

“So, it’s better for you people (government) to close them now because they are consuming and destroying the mind of our children. I cannot take this nonsense again from this country.”

The development comes against the backdrop of recent reports that the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, ordered the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) to take the show off the air, citing concerns over the pandemic.
