You and I thought our jobs were tough, hard or dangerous? think again! - ILN

Here is a lesson in humility - ILN

    Coconut Pluckers in Short Supply

    http://www.nytimes.com/slideshow/200...8-INDIA_7.html

Mr. Rameshan climbed a coconut tree in Mararikulam North in Kerala. Solutions such as using mechanical platforms that raise pluckers to the top of trees and using trained monkeys have proved unworkable because of expense and due to animal cruelty laws Because coconuts are essential to the economy, Kerala's state government is sponsoring an international design competition to develop coconut-picking machines.

Just when you and I, thought our jobs were hard? - ILN

Although a skilled plucker can make as much as $8 a day, a considerable wage in a country where many struggle on less than $2 a day, the job's dangers make it unattractive. B. Mohan, 65, fell from a tree in October, breaking several bones and injuring his spine. "I started climbing when I was 15," said Mr. Mohan. "There was no alternative. We had this job only

It is hard to overstate the importance of coconuts to life in India. Every last bit of the coconut tree and its fruit is put to use. In addition to being used for food, moisturizers, and furniture, coconuts are used in religious worship.

The climber must climb tall trees, carrying a heavy blade to slice the nuts from their stems. One misstep and he would surely fall, as much as 100 feet to the ground

Plucking coconuts is a dangerous job that requires experience and judgment. The nuts ripen at different times, and trained climbers have to decide whether a nut is ready to be plucked. K. Rameshan prayed before climbing a coconut tree in a grove along the beach in the village of Mararikulam North, in Kerala.

A scarcity of coconut pluckers in Kerala, India, threatens to undermine one of its most important industries. India produces 15 billion coconuts a year, and just about every one is plucked by hand. S. Mohan prepared a coconut for drinking in the neighborhood of Kera in Trivandrum, Kerala, India.

    Exponent You are right..
p.s. you missed one: Kobe Bryant boned that blonde in her butt.
AND, before that my Kobe Bryant was the king of cool, he was squeaky clean and peaceful... no wonder women always seem to say, the quiet men are more em, em, em,...

Is it perhaps that the Baptist wives do not do a "good" business of "giving it up" the way the outside women do? For instance, see what Kobe Bryant got... the rear end of things... and perhaps his wife only permitted "missionary" style and the poor Kobe had to wait until 11:00 PM news is over and all the lights are off?

Meanwhile Kobe wanted to examine the contours of her orifices of pleasure... the rear end or from a rear angle... rear view (Exponent, I have to be delicate sister Rose is here)

Perhaps this disagreement as to preferred orifice... is what drive the men to the "gutter" girls? Hmmmm Food for thought.
