I hate The police force and Local government officials

I really hate the Police force and the Local government officials. I will sue them if i could. They are the most backminded, heartless people on the face of the earth. They have no human sympathy at all.

I was strolling with my babe at night and they stopped their bus and raided me leaving my girlfriend on the streets. I asked them what i did and their reply was a gruesome dirty dumbfounding slap across my face. I had to bail my self with 2000 Naira. The other day, i boarded a bike going to my friends house and they stopped me, they asked me for my I.D Card and i showed them. Knowing that they couldn't get anything from me, they asked me for my national identity card and i told them i did not have it. Can you imagine that, this devils in uniform arrested me and i had to bail myself with 2,500. Ever since then, i have hated this set of people called "our friends"

The one with the local government officials is not too intense, they have not really offended me but they have offended many people around me. They are really incarnates of the devil and i just wish i could sue these people because they are making life a lot more difficult for we Nigerians.

I think i hate them too...one saturday morning like that, i was coming back from church (Night vigil) they caught me and my friends around 5am, they didn't even ask us where we were coming from, they pushed us into there bus and took us to the station and we spent like 3 hours there but we didn't pay any money. since that day, i must confess, that i hate these so called friends of ours (Police).

It is tough I know and I generally try to avoid them. Police in Nigeria are dangerous to your health, your sanity, your livelihood and your continued freedom

What you could do is take the details of the particular police man that you are dealing with, his name and his police command/or police station of origin. Once you have that, report them at every point where you can report. A petition to the Police Service Commission, a letter to a newspaper that reports crime (Sun News Paper). Get their names in print and let us begin to shame them and their bosses in their personal capacity. Let us make a hew and cry about it. If we can get pictures or video recordings let us do so.

People are losing their lives to illegal raids and arrests because they refused to or were unable to pay bribes to buy their freedom. If they ask you for money ask for a receipt. They won't give you but they will become wary.

Always, always make sure that someone else knows you have been picked up by the police. Some police stations have been reported to shoot people in their yard on allegations of armed robbery. This report has never been effectively addressed by the police so don't become a victim.
