Thank God for the life of this great Nigerian who from time immemorial has been chanting this song of liberation to a deaf generation! I wonder what the other African writers are doing? Instead of rallying around this noble son of Africa who has refuse to sell his soul for 30 pieces of silver (like the othe Judases who hide under and try to find favour) Ride on Achebe our African Hero!! may God add more grease to your elbows, give you long life and wake up the living dead to their responsibility. I wish you were made the President of Nigeria because you are the most suitable person who knows all the intricate problems of Nigeria and Africa as a whole. You would rally Africa like a hen gathers her chicks under; and united we shall stand not only to refute what this small portion of the world (the west's Eurocentricism) but also to demand conpensation for the hundreds of years of torture/free labour accompanied with an apology. All my school days I 've never come across this qualitative books you have written only The novels;Things fall apart,Arrows of God,No longer at ease. You are our orator and you intend to educate us to the truth (for you shall know the truth and only the truth can set one free) Not history books written by Foreigners! our younger generations have been brainwashed and are in the dark, your books, not the novels (for their meanings has to be searched out) should be used in schools.we needd a total overhauling and drastic measures to regain our identity thus we 'don't have to go trying to decod a hidden message in a novel, we need the raw facts fast, thus these books should be used as from the secondary schools upwards. Many ppl live all their life without accessing these materials, all my life I have just come across "Morning yet on creation day'' and was intrigued that I only stumble on this book in Europe not in Nigeria,Is this political ploy to undermine you? You are my hero, mentor and model, I would be glad to get your contact like your email! Anyone reading this and knows him can please refer him to this website/my demand? Thanks in Advance.
