The following is a response to the article 'Night Is Arriving For Nigeria' by Dr. Gary K. Busch.
A decent analysis of our current situation. However, Dr Busch forgot to mention that the fall in crude prices will also have a downward effect on exploration and development of US light tight oil (shale) fields, which currently break even at between $50 - $80 per barrel (with only Eagle Ford at $50).
I agree that we need to diversify the economy to break our reliance on crude
