Hmmmm, i just finished reading a friend's latest blog and then i happened upon another by the Big Khuna..i didnt post a comment on his cos am still trying to digest it.

Am at the moment in what we call the computer room in the house...that's where u get to do your stuff....all things that pertains to work and internet surfing is restricted to that place for me...in other not to distract others in the house.

I have more than 10 topics fighting for a chance to be delivered..and i just could not make up my mind as to which to give birth to first...but then decided to write this anywaz. It's no different from what Ayomide has already done justice to in her latest..but then with a slight twist and spice.

It is good to be good and do whatever it is that drops on your mind to do for others..not minding the fact that most might not appreciate it. As i thought more about this..i was reminded for some reason of the 10 lepers that were healed by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and how he had advised that they go show themselves in the Synagogue..i.e share the Testimony of their healing...and only one remembered to come back to thank him.

Are u always moved to stretch forth your hand to someone that needs direction, mentoring, encouragement and help?
As i write, i remember some act of kindness done by my late beloved and friend and how some of those he helped that i had no idea of came back to say thank u in their own special way.
I also for some reason remember someone telling me that whatever it is we do comes back in one form or the other as we're building goodwill for the future and for our children and children's children..several generations will benefit from our thoughtfulness. I remember vividly the day a man that i didn't know came to the house to deliver a giant fish and a bundle of lace material(not collecting egunje o)...when asked how come..after introducing himself told me the story of his life and how my spouse helped locate him to where he could fish..he's been unemployed for the longest time..and oga had always helped him with funds..but then decided to give him a note to one of his friends that own fishing companies....that's how this very lucrative company decided to employ him as one of their captains....he was more than appreciative and decided to come home to me with the fish..he knew that if he took it to Oga's office, the fish will most likely be given to another person in need....was that fish huge or what...they had to use a special tool to cut it.... the stories are endless. When we stretch forth our hand to help another by lifting them up...we are also lifting our maker up and he delights in such.

Luke 6:38...Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Taking our proper place here on earth is a mission with a vision given to some...and when u don't run with it can be replaced.

I was at a friend's newsletter launch and book launch in Nigeria some years back and a man was lamenting throughout the ceremony..and when asked, told us that God gave him exact same mission and he failed to run with it..he was faffing...kept procrastinating...till the day he then saw with his very own eyes how a woman with not too elaborate substance made a beautiful thing of it in a very effective manner.

What's your Mission?
Do u have a Vision and have received the Rhema about it or need help understanding what u need get done?
Are u afraid of being urself? Or that people will find ur ideas and u weird?
Not to worry, u're not alone...yes u cant save the whole world, but can make a difference in ur own unique way...JUST BE YOURSELF.

Heavy and really deep too emj.

But i still believe the issue with our generation today is basically who we are, 'being yourself' entails much more than it means. You can't be be yourself without without first all knowing who you are and who you are is a function how much you are willing to go 'within' and not the opposite which is common with our generation, 'without' Hmmm...

Most of us have a sense that there is a better, more meaningful way to live our lives, but we can't seem to find it by ourselves. We carry on doing what is required of us, but still this nagging sense that "there must be something more" returns. This search for a greater sense of our life's purpose, a desire to explore what we are truly meant to do with our lives can only come about by discovering our core values and God to me is this core value. Yes only living a purposeful, meaningful life in accordance with God's will can we truly be ourselves.

    You’re always so kind.

I juggled to read both of your blogs… both well done, as usual. Thanks for coming back.

In the same way, I’m juggling which 2 blogs to post first.

I’m so short of words now, but thanks so much for all your writings and much more with which you have always taken a place of leadership. Really.

Thanks all for reading. In addition to my initial note...We all just need to free our mind. Then and maybe then we can see clearly. Some of us are too set in our ways to see and even try new things.
I remembered trying to get a family member to see things with a new/different eye...that is, discussed an issue with a free mind....do away with the past and press on with the present, with the hope of making the future better......there was so much resistant of the highest turbo nuclear magnitude that left me wondering ....hmmm.....just like Vyking said up there....u need to know yourself...and in addition love urself......then u just might understand/see clearly.
