Default Its Juliet or no one

That is the title of the movie I just watched and I had to ask myself some questions.
    1. Why do Nigerians like shouting?(I am guilty of it sometimes)The 1st 4 scenes had me blocking my ears with ,my fingers to prevent my ear drums from exploding.Every point had to be made aggressively.
2.Do they not edit the movies? One girl in the 1st scene said and I quote"how does it consigns u?"This is one of the many badly spoken english in this movie.
    3.The soundtracks,o the soundtracks.Need I say anything?
4.Why is it that boy falls in love with girl and the next scene is, they hit the boutique. So u can not profess love without baffing the girl up?
5.Why do younger siblings in the movies feel like they have to act like agbayas?Must u tilt ur head like a stubborn 6 yr old boy before we know u r the younger one even when u look like a 40 yr old woman?

I feel like I wasted precious time that could have been spent sleeping.
Anyways,I give kudos to the likes of Amaka Igwe, the Amata brothers(who has seen Amazing grace)? etc who make an extra effort.

I just watched 'Goodbye New York',it was a total waste of my time.Infact,I left it on and went ahead to surf the web. That's how uninteresting it was. They were trying to act out the life of Nigerian immigrants in the US and I found myself getting angrier and angrier at the misrepresentation. The director even superimposed scenes from American movies into the thing.I was beyond annoyed.Nonsense, hissssssss!!!

Later on,I watched 'Thunderbolt-Magun',good movie.Very well acted and edited. One of my favorite movies.

I sympathize with you. I remember stating that thst movie was shot with a video phone, but EZB thought I made it up. I mean... it's so obvious! Oh don't write about that "movie" please. It's not worth it at all.

By the way, what's with these marketing guys who now write Parts 1 and 2, or Parts 1- 3 on cases, seal them, make you pay for the supposed quantity, only to get home and find one sorry part in it? After experiencing that twice, I stopped buying Naija movies. I used to feel guilty watching movies online, not anymore.

Anike,I believe the video phone theory. That movie was stupid to say the least.I actually bought it cos I saw some of the people I admired on the cover and the fact that it was advertised without a Part 2 unlike all the others I saw.I wonder why those actors agreed to lend their faces to such nonsense, that's how careers are sullied. My dear, this is my last Naija DVD purchase
