Default Abuja: Theater Of Looting Incorporated.

*Abuja is gradually emerging as the headquarters of corruption incorporated because of concentration of power at the center. The Nigerian federation as it is presently constituted is not and will not encourage dignity of labour or service delivery to an already impoverished and deprived citizens. The concept of service for public good, progress and communal survival is alien to our leaders.Like Vultures, they only congregate in Abuja to feed, loot public and private sector funds with impunity. The state of insecurity and dearth of infrastructural developments are not their immediate concern provided their family and cronies are enjoying first class security protection and state of the art facilities.Afertall, almost 1/3 of Nigerian Police forces are allocated for their protection. What a Nation!*

*A situation where virtually all the states of the federation are operating as employee of the federal government at the center will not ignite competitions for positive developments to spur economic activities.Until the Nigerian federation is restructured to fit modern practices of a Union,Abuja will continue to be dominated by mafioso and predatory animals on feeding frenzy. These predatory animals will not decentralize power from the center because that would deflate their ego and make them irrelevant. They are contended seeing fellow citizens feeding from their crumbs and living at their mercy. The probe panels are just another waste of public funds and conduits to*fleeter away our resources into private pockets.it is another make belief drama entirely designed to divert our attention, test our patience and intelligence. The probe panels is not deterring felons, but only serve to wet their appetites for more looting and scamming. what an irony!

*With a Judiciary that is ever ready to use the instruments of law to massage the ego and libido of deviants, miscreants and felons. The coast is ever clear for these predatory animals to bite, masticate and feed on anything on sight.Like a shark colony, any excessive supply of foods will make nearby sharks go wild and feed to the extent of even eating fellow sharks. The probing of these crimes will not produce any positive result because it was circus orchestra that is well designed and programmed to fail and be swept under the carpets. This colony of sharks have a coded language and behavioral pattern that only God can decipher. The more the probe panels unearth primitive looting of both public and private sector funds, the more culture of impunity gets more emboldened, adored and worshiped.

*Our Judges from the court are not helping in curbing the cancerous effects of looting, scamming and graft. With ridiculous, lousy, laughable and oppressive*judgements, Nigerian citizens have finally lost hope*in the Judiciary as the last bastion of hope to save them from their oppressors. Our jails are filled with low level*criminals who ordinarily do not have any social protection nest the state should offer before going into crime to steal chicken, goat, mobile phone, shoes, cements e.t.c. but the man who looted public and private sector funds with impunity is not accountable to anybody because Justice in Nigeria is for the highest Bidder.*

*All the probe panels are nothing but public jamboree because the personalities that constitutes these committees are inept and compromised and incompetent.A Lawbreaker (Sorry,Lawmaker)*or Legislooter (Sorry again,Legislator) whose only stock in trade is to scam, loot and allocate state resources to himself and his cronies cannot dispense Justice or make any recommendation that is binding. The case of Mrs Arunmah Oteh Director General of Security Exchange Commission and Honorable Herman Hembe is still fresh in our memory.A story of the more you look the less you see.The circus orchestra is like that in all sectors of government agency.Scamming,Bribery and Looting galore.!We only hear their noose only when dirty deals go awry.

*Abuja is now a colony of sharks where all our wealth are excessively concentrated and supplied to predatory sharks on feeding frenzy.Nigeria as a union must be restructured before it finally slipped into a*failed state.

The leadership of Nigeria is drawn from the average corrupt Nigerian with a fraudulent mindset. The governor or legislator is no different from the customs officer asking for bribe or the post man who steal the mail or the policeman asking for bribe or the teenager sending 419 emails around the world.
Reducing the issues of Nigeria to simply people in public office is not a solution to the problem. Most Nigerians are not patriotic and public serving by nature, they are greedy and selfish to their country and themselves. Many countries I have been, the local people tell me that the majority of black foreigners in jail are ordinary Nigerians (not politicians).
Nigeria and Nigerians are not the poorest people in the world, India and Somalia have more poverty stricken people in the world yet Nigerians for some reason like to steal, loot, defraud, traffic drugs and destroy the name of the country...why???

You're actually making a great point here. But let me quickly remind you that the pool of our commonwealth been looted in Abuja is unprecedented in our history and it is having adverse effects on every spheres of our life including immigration of our citizens for greener pasture.
I don't want to dabble into the issues of crimes committed by Nigerians abroad, but if all these trillion looted were invested in our economy, it will go a long to stimulate the economy for jobs creation with huge multiplying effects on Immigration and crime commission...
But to be sure,i am not condoning any act of deviancy by Nigerians living abroad. However, when a Nigerians excel in academic, athletic or other endeavors,He or She is British,American,Canadian or honourable citizens of the country in which he domiciled but if 1 out 5 Nigerian commits crime, then he is a Nigerian or all Nigerians are criminals. This is not a good parameter to judge people.it's not right
