Have you ever wondered what a con man or ‘guy man’ in local parlance tells a potential victim, I mean client, mgbada, maga or mugu?

Well, here is a classic to make your day. And for those of you who always allege that it is only my people (Igbos) that are into the 419 business, the voices captured on this live radio show in America may just prove you wrong or is it me that is wrong?.

Where on earth do these white faggots think that Nigeria is? Imagine insulting our country by saying that we live in the stone age, use only rusty trash cans, hang out in mud house cafes, have only 12 telephone lines coming into the country and that we plug our telephones into coconut trees; Ernest Ndukwe of NCC must really hear this, to think that those jockeys will jokingly dismiss his years of toil trying to jump - start Nigeria’s telecommunication sector.

It may be that these Americans have either been watching  too much crocodile hunter documentary on the discovery channel or that they are suffering from an overdose of those Obasanjo advertisements on CNN that they now believe that the beach theme with all the coconuts in the background are all that there are to Nigeria.

And haven’t they heard about MTN, GLO and V-Mobile? And must they push it down our throats that the MTN tuu-tum, tuu-tum ringing tone can sometimes be offensive? What has that got to do with anything?

Let them not just annoy me o! or I will send Mallam Ribadu after them; after all they are also accomplices, although I’m not so sure what former senate president Anyim Pius Anyim, and Felix Ibru will say to all these.

Now click here to listen to the actual conversation.

In as much that we could laugh about the stupidity of some Americans, we should not overlook the fact that these 419ers are sullying the image of Nigeria. Thereby, killing the business opportunities of geniune businesspeople. Yes, not only Nigeria produces scammers. The West does so. Think about identity theft and spam emails. But the difference is that in West these scumbags are tracked down and sent to jail. But in Nigeria, until recently, 419ners are given prime positions in the government and worshipped by the people.

Look at the stupidity of a man who called himself Dr Anyim. It's so clear that the man is educated, at least post-primary school educated. He is a double jeopardy fraudster. He not only made a fool of himself but tried unsuccessfully to speak in strange phonetics. What an example of Colo Mentality

While its true that 419ers are sullying Nigeria's image, this situation to a great extent is a reflection of Western dominance of the global media. Its suits the West to portray Nigerian 419 as if we are the originators of international fraud. Little or nothing is ever said about how Western corporations and banks assist our despots to loot our money and resources. Not to talk about the cement and arms wayo that Western companies played on Nigeria in the early 1970s.

I've never had much sympathy for the Western victims of 419. The 419 letters are so daft that only a moron or an extremely greedy person can fall for such ridiculous propositions. How any one in his or her right senses can expect to make money from assisting a stranger to fleece his native country beats my imagination. Its precisely because the Western media paints a picture of Nigeria as an utterly corrupt society where anything is possible that an otherwise rational and sane American would act upon an email from a total stranger claiming to be a Nigerian government official asking for his assistance to move some hot money out of Nigeria.

Bo, any American who falls for this kind of scam fully deserves what he gets. In the process of trying to rob Nigeria, he got conned. Serves him or her full right!

Uche.......we all understand your point but the bottom line is what it is........if we choose to use dubious means to earn a living, we'll continue to be black listed.

As for the two DJs, ignorance runs in their blood. Many of them have never seen a passport or know what the geography of the world resembles. I've met many of them and it got to a point that I always agree that we live on trees. How many dumb questions can one answer?

Ignorance is a disease...all they have pictured in their minds is "Roots" and kunta kente.
Let's try to change this image of ourselves by proving that we're human beings.

Meanwhile, oyinbo people get their own crooks but na awa own dem go advertise..........

And I must say I was laughing my pants off...this was too funny........sounds like something orchestrated by a night of a thousand laffs...........

I am not sure what's funny about these ignorant beer drinking hillbillies...

Caucasians already believe in the inferiority of the black race.

This conversation just gave them something more to scoff at.
