That Chest Bump Print E-mail

Puff! Puff! Puff!

I once saw two mountains kiss

Flashes of epiphany swamped the sky

But this chest bump

Of the one destined for Rushmore

Only got me submerged

In a river of fragmented laughter.

Stone muscles, mashed brain

Marching tears, trifle salvation

How he could elude himself

In front of the multitude

Baffles even the gods.

Seduced by Papa’s fear

Chained by dereliction of miracle

He can no longer escape from allegory

Even with buffed up guide

Re-virginization of the tormented one

Collapsed in midair.

Inasmuch as I appreciate the efforts by Mr. Rudolf Okonkwo to make bold political statements through a paucity of words, I have to draw the attention of the Administration to the fact that this publication does not meet the requirement of at least 750 words. And by the way, can't we perhaps create a section that can adequately accommodate the creative efforts of those of us with a poetic inclination?

Okonkwo,

More than two people already testified to it that you are an acomplished author. To me too,it appeared so.
I admonished you to please stay in your lane.
There are so much to be written about Nigeria's government, problems, people etc. Therefore be aware of the fact that readers are always eager to read from the likes of you about our own pressing issues.
You and few others needed not bother us with America's Presidential matters.
Whoever wins American Presidency is strictly America's business.Pls refrain from putting on our tired back an extra yoke of America's Presidential circus.
It makes no difference to me who wins since the winner is not going to change the laid down American policy because American policy stands like a stonewall. He/she just continues from where the former left.
Let us be more concerned of our daily mounting problems and see if we can find lasting solutions to them or at least make some impacts.
