Yar’Adua Is Sick, So Also Nigeria...I Said So Prince Charles Dickson pcdbooks@yahoo. com pcdbooks@gmail. com pcdbooks@hotmail. com Jos, Plateau Nigeria "The public does not like you to mislead or represent yourself to be something you're not. And the other thing that the public really does like is the self-examination to say, you know, I'm not perfect. I'm just like you. They don't ask their public officials to be perfect. They just ask them to be smart, truthful, honest, and show a modicum of good sense." ~ Ann Richards (recent death) The entire nation has been in a frenzy...Its funny how one event can change a lot of permutations. ..Nigeria and her leaders indeed beats sane imagination. Yaradua, a gentleman and a nice fellow by all compliments is suffering the sins of an adopted father...Obj. Ordinarily from the events of the last few days one can deduce that the man's crime is simply that of PDP. The mere fact that his is the PDP flag bearer has brought more curse than blessing. A cross section of Nigerians I spoke with really had no problem with the man other than the fact that he was handpicked by Baba, no one could really say that this man was a thief or stole like his contemporaries, but trust Nigerians we always have reasons to pick holes...For a man that always had left-overs in state coffers it means that he did not perform.

Just shaking my head. Well I am least perturbed because for all we say, and all we care the men in black robes and umbrellas have already perfected the act of fooling us. If Yaradua or indeed any of the Presidential candidates dies, softly put the law says that INEC has the right to push the Elections indefinitely and no one saw this until recently. Whatever that means the truth sometimes in Nigeria is not the fact, however either way we calculate, Obj wittingly or otherwise could continue whether he has packed his belongings out of Aso Rock or not. All the noise of the National Assembly is the usual bark without bite; we just pray that the Almighty and fate has the last say and the last move in this game of chess called Nigeria. Nigeria is sick, very sick, if Yaradua dies before the elections, there is likely to be a push in date for the elections into the unknown, then the PDP will play chess with his replacement, will it remain a Northerner or what will the equation be, certainly not Goodluck despite all his luck and if we factor in the known, it is speculative but in the long run we may be again toying with an annulled election only that this time we may not be able to just sweep it under the carpet as free and fair because indeed it will not be free and fair.

I am not a Yaradua supporter, nor do I root for PDP...to me the AC, is an air-conditioner without compressor. For and to all intent all the parties are sick, Buhari has not told us how he hopes to contain the corrupt elements that make up the ANPP, some of which suffered his wrath during his first reign. Who amongst the very top notchers in our politics is healthy, we forget so soon that Obj almost died mid way into his tenure, but he did not die...whether it is his liver, kidney, or stomach with all the money they can buy replacements at short notice. Nigeria itself is sick and the truth is that we really can get replacements and good ones at that, and at short notice too but we lack the will to go for it. Once again it is Germany, it is a coincidence that a man soon to be President, all things working PDP's way will seek to do a routine check in Germany while the nation's Doctors were on strike, and we talk of continuing the good works of Obasanjo...sad story of our existence. What happens to the millions of Nigeria that cannot afford routine Panadol, millions that rely on self-medication and more millions that have become herbal medicine freaks?

Watched on television the rented crowd that awaited the PDP flag bearer and all I saw was a nation of sick citizenry In the temporary sickness, some even started floating IBB's name, and if this is not sickening, only Nigerians know what more can be sickening. What is the price of truth in Nigeria, our media engage in yellow journalism or better still outright lies are told in the name of breaking news or our sources in Kampala. Despite Western propaganda, they were careful not to report speculations, but we...with our "trusted sources" we flew to bed, with all sorts of "those close" unconfirmed and uncomfirmable nonsense. We tend to even give out ourselves cheaply to leadership manipulation by our reactions, which are often misplaced emotional ranting. This maybe rather harsh but it helps leadership to know how best to fly their kite, where, when and how to adjust to our whims and caprices, we loose at the end either ways. Are we not sick...? We have to face it that whatever side of the coin, we are in trouble, whether Yaradua is sick, or his organ has or will fail, Nigeria is the story of Yaradua's health, good in places, bad in vital places, may pack up, may end up not packing up...but there are warning signs, they may be wrong and we hope they are not right.

Of the 36 Governors only 6 has not traveled out for medical, some have even gone for the frivolous, while the rest have from acute asthma, intense migraine, stomach adjustment, pocket realignment, pimples, facials to irresistible stealing hands syndrome. Tell me a Nigerian that is not sick, sick from lack of electricity, water, good roads, quality education and improved healthcare facility. These are the ones we can lay hands on, we forget the school fees, bills for unavailable utility, frustration of inadequacies which all result in abnormal blood pressure. With the wave of apologies that has trailed the President's visit to most States during the Yaradua campaign train, it is obvious that we were given a soured meal that has made us all sick, the President is apologizing for Boni Haruna, for Dariye, calling Orji a bastard, Atiku a thief, while the Bode Georges, Ubas, Adedibus are waiting to be knighted as Saints of immaculate morals. Sick politicians, sick followership, sick nation, but we keep moving one day at a time, we wont die, we have a strong resolve, we believe that it cannot end just like that, while some of us patronize Mazi Kalu's chemist, others leave their fate to Baba Tinubu's Herbal concoction, many are sick with no choice than death.

While another group just refuse to fall ill, which is scary or put simply...SICK! The rest are up there...they are sick, very, very sick, they have lost their conscience, they lie truthfully, they have turned red into blue, that is they cannot tell us in any Nigerian Language what the problem is with Yaradua yet the Naira new notes has that feature. Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.. ~ John Adams. The issue is not that of a sick Presidential candidate, but a sick society, a sick system, and a people that is sick, many great leaders have been physically sick, from Abraham Lincoln, to Margaret Thatcher, Clinton was and is still sick, Ronald was, Obasanjo is diabetic and by my diagnosis suffers maniac depression from fear of Atiku and prison yet his love for women and hate for rational advice has not decreased. The fact remains that our leaders are mentally sick and they are driving us all into a state of...only Almighty Allah can save us. NB…Sadly Atiku too has gone to London to repair a minor dislocation…and the President finally agrees to give his Vice an aircraft, these guys are all toying with us and are all a disgrace to leadership, to imagine that we do not have orthopedic surgeons is a big lie…a sick nation indeed

true talk my brother; how can a country so rich but cannot provide basic social amenities, the ruling pen thieves, continue to waste our resources to seek medical help abroad, instead of them to develop our health system. they have all failed us, and i believe AC will be worse than PDP, these are association of failed politicians, that destroyed Nigeria, they are bird of the same feather with PDP (People Destruction Party); they may have different name, but they are nothing more than Association of Criminals (AC).
You rightly stated that ours is a sick country, why not? we do not ask question, why can't we ask our ruling elites, why are we being denied simple things in life, such as basic health care, constant electricity, good roads, quality education etc. how long can we go on shuffering and shmilling in the word of the one and only Fela.
Can anyone please tell me apart from Pat Utomi, what are Buhari, Atiku, Yar adua and others programmes?

VOTE UTOMI FOR PRESIDENT, WE HAVE TO BREAK THE JINX OF RULING BY THOSE WHO IN AN HEALTHY SOCIETY, WE BE HIDING THEIR HEAD IN SHAME, FOR RUINNING THEIR FATHERLAND. HERE I STAND.

When you solve the equation, Nigeria = truths + untruths (lies), you get "Nitrulitis." Nitrulitis is a disease endemic in Nigeria. Most Nigerians are genetically susceptible to it, no matter where they flee for refuge in the world. The symptoms of this ailment run the entire gamut of confusion, including mystification, uncertainty, perplexity, stupor, etc. Nitrulitis is a very serious disease, worse than AIDS, because it has not been isolated and recognised as one. What do you think is wrong with all those Nigerians who turn out in their crowds to grace the campaign rallies of those dilettantes who call themselves politicians? In my opinion, they are wallowing in Nitrulitis.

One solace though; all those politicians who routinely jet abroad for medical checkups are equally afflicted with Nitrulitis. They are so deluded they believe the present status quo will remain for ever, ha! Hopefully, those few Nigerians still lucky not to have been scourged with this horrible disease would continue to test negative, for in them is the only modicum of hope for a future Nigeria, assuming that one day an antidote would be found.

This Yar' Adua's illness has unleashed a lot of medical practioners that had been hiding their skills on this website:lol:  There is nothing I have not read in the past 2hrs. In between Okey telling us why he is outraged and Yar'Adua and Atiku going for cough and sneezing check up in Germany and London, I don't know which one is causing me my own laughter induced ailment:lol:

first of all , i do not care where the president comes from north or south.. I want a godly man..

The word of God says " If my people, which are called by my name, shall HUMBLE themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and TURN from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

(2 Chronicles 7:14)

Let..look at this word of God... its talk about humble, no matter how many prayer you offer, if you do not humble yourself as a nation and individual and you have to turn from your wicked way, your land would be the same...

Charles, I have not seen you talk about Makama falsified census... Do you have a copy of the google earth satellite picture that shows that the south is more than the north... You fail to tell your northerner leader than they should cancel the census figures..

Charles you say that A northerner must replace Yar Adua, no way Goodluck must replace Yar Adua if he dies before the election.. because Yar Adua pick him as his deputy, and under democracy any where in the world..

What Yar Adua did before the international press was to says In case he dies that should be replace by Goodluck.. And that stand.. and if Yar Adua dies tomorrow before the election.. Goodluck would replace him.. Yar Adua WILL must be follwed to the letters. this is the law of Nigeria.

Any reason Charles is an issue of justice, charles if Not for the people of this Goodluck of the Niger Delta that you do not want to be president.. your ass like Oyibo go says would not have gone to University.. so you own Goodluck and his people .. even Yar Adua or Atiku would have been uneducated and Charles would have been in a farm in Plateau state sowing seed of groundnut or cocoa... So charles you see why you need to be humble..

2 Charles your so call North ruled Nigeria for 40 years and Nigeria never had anything to show for it.. Why dont you justice why a northerner should become president... If northern leadership have failed Nigeria for 40 years, why on earth should we return back to a wrong path...

Now let me go back to Yar adua, he collected over $769 million from the federal govt and for 8 years never built a state of the art hospital, while he had medical problem... It would not cost him $50 million dollar to build one.. or improve on it and bring equipment into katsina state that can help him to get better but he never did, if he fail to improve his own health, why should the people of Nigeria trust him with our health..

Now tribune today said Yar adua borrow N90 million naira load from a bank, and all is business have closed down.. if Yar adua makes less than N5 million a year, how do you expect him to pay back.? and why would a bank borrow him that much money in the first place.. For me to vote and support Yar Adua he most put it in written that he would not introduce sharia all over Nigeria, like in did in Katsina state..

Please do not take it as if I have anything against Yar Adua I have nothing against him.. I wish him all the best as he trys to be president.. he look humble enough. But I want the best for Nigeria.. you see, when I said, I want to be in the think tank of who becomes president.. I know why.. because I know what contribute I would make to development.. I have no interest in making money from nigeria. but i want to see a better Nigeria.. Look I have been looking for a way to talk to the Yar Adua man , if you charles have the connnection , my email is info@nigeriaONE.com I want to do an interview with him.. I have Atiku contact person ready to go even while he is in london.. if we are ready Atiku people are ready to run live calling program on naija radio.. and again But we do not want to be partial by running Atiku without running Yar Adua it would look like we are taken side...

On Atiku or Yar Adua or buhari or YORUBA LEADERS or who ever what happen to you people that you can not go to LUTH in lagos for treatment.. Now you all can quote me on this LUTH does not have a standby generator.. LUTH use candle and kerosine lamp to light up the hospital at night..
All doctor at look are after private practice... you would never find anyone doctor around in LUTH..

Can you imagine LUTH using candle and kerosine lamp this is up to less than 2 weeks ago.. but we have $43 billion in another man country banks.. for what??? Charles if you know what your people have cause to Nigeria. Or how do you expect a Yoruba man who could remember how the northern military use to roll military tank on out street during the June 12 election and kill our children on the street.. how do you expect this people to vote for a northern candidate.. I have said before .. We should put this election on hold.. we are not ready for any stupid election....

We have to discuss the basic of our unity.. when your house his in trouble, you do not just run away from it, but you solve it by putting everything on hold.. and look for the problem and solve it..
charles go back and read that Gods word.

we have to stop this north must rule altitude and look for a good man to rule Nigeria.. It is not to late... there are good people still in Nigeria that can rule.. 8 years is so much that we can not have the wrong person as president..

=Forshow;161211>charles I need a reply.
Forshow.
1. where are you from
2. what the hell are you talking about.

How the hell is it that it is because of the ND that the northerners went to school. But first, which are you talking, western, i expected better from someone who i should assume claims to be educated. if people like you, 21st century still think like this, then Nigeria still has a long way to go. Unfortunately Nigeria hasa along way to go because people like you think this way...

I wish that the Prince Charles would reply you

to the topic. i think you read the piece completely upside down. from what i deduce, the theme was how the sickness of Yardua was reflection of the Nigerian State and had absolutely nothing to do with whose wrapper was Southern or whose agbada was North...The truth is that our problems today is that of leadership not necessarily that of tribal and etnic nonsense..against the usual it may interest you to know that I am southern my husband is Northern and he is the most loving and I must state that he is very very educated not becaue of peanuts from the Niger Delta nor groundnut pyramids in Kano...He is because he decided he should have an education I also beg to let you know that he did not get any long list of scholarships like his mates...

My dear Forshow...until we start to look from other perspective to solve our problems we are far off the mark...You started well but you veered off the point..Nobody says that Goodluck sholud not or cannot but I bet on my life it is still the Southern or Niger Delta people that would start crying wolf...

Everybody should carry its own cross the North is as underdeveloped as anywhere in the Niger Delta...forget the crap you are fed with..the pians of the talakawas are the pains of the militants, terrorists or any term we use...our leaders have short changed us..not the north nor the south...my husband did not go to school to marry a southern girl...this is not about who paid whose fees...

Finally on a jovial note..you dey blame North...Odili wey thief, Ibori, and Lucky no be Ali..dem be son of the soli and dem barawo una own money rather than develop...two corrupt niger delta governors one corrupt north governor, fact and the truth, yet they are all thieves.

I have browsed your Nigeriaone.com. i have subcribed.

  abeg, my sister, no mind that our brother, forshow, his thought modus operandi is highly complicated and sometimes camouflaged in a twisted mathematical algorithm and embedded in enigma structural matrix codes, which a normal mind can't easily decipher, even if you cluster ten super computers they will still take immense time to decode his thought structures.

one thing you must know, this man and his english language is not from this time of our existence...he's from the future time...indeed

Look mr, we all own the niger delta people our education.. I am yoruba, so do not think I am from the nigr delta.. You see thier oil money sent all of us to school.. even charles.. and Yar Adua had made it clear in a press conference that incase he dies that Goodluck should replace him.. my reply was based on what Charles wrote that A northerner must replace Yar Adua..

For me it is not a north or south thing but more of the next 8 years, how realible is Atiku, Yar Adua, Orji Kalu, buhari.. We need good leadership, can any of this men show us that they can provide it..
