"We decided today in the Senate to save the nation from its slide to anarchy"

In this session, we feature a one-on-one interview of Senator Afikuyomi (AD, Lagos State), an arrow-head of the anti-third-term agenda in the National Assembly.  Fresh from the Senate chambers, and displaying joy and exuberance after the Senate threw out the entire amendment process by a unanimous vote, the Senator revealed that a headcount of Senators in a secret session last night showed that they were overwhelmingly in favor of killing the process.  He affirmed that the mood of the nation right now is towards ensuring free and fair elections in 2007, and commended Diaspora Nigerians for their stand over the matter.

Please tune in for more of this very interesting interview.

Here they come again, the political rogues of the South West, after using the Awo and June 12 cards in 1999 to get into office to enrich themselves are now starting to pull the "DEMOCRAT" card of anti 3rd Term.
Electorates BEWARE, Vote well this time and not on sentiments. Their records are there for all to see.

Here we go again... another case of the pot calling the kettle black.. Let me guess Abubarka Atiku, Odimegu Ojukwu, Buhari, Orji Kalu, IBB and little ones like Tokunbo Afikuyomi are now the champions of democracy in Nigeria.. I pity this country the fleas will not go away until we stop laying down with the dogs in human skins that calls themselves the champions of democracy in Nigeria.

Very soon OBJ is going to make a nation wide broadcast that he is leaving to preserve democracy in Nigerian and let peace rein in the land..............then

Wow! I can just see it now........ Ladies and Gentlemen let me introduce you to the new president elect (ehmn... stolen) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Ibrahim Badamosi Babanginda M.O.N

These guys are a bad case of gonorhea that just keeps recyling itself in different forms and will never go away.

God help us all.

So, even Tokunbo is now thumping his chest as a "democrat"?

As angry as I am by this arrant nonsense, I'll avoid blaming Toks. Here is a guy that perpetually looks for opportunity to "shine". While many laughed at him, he played the role of a glorified errand boy for the NADECO politicians during the political impasse. And to "reward" him, he got a whole senate seat unopposed. Don't bother asking what his contributions have been to his constituency. The hungry-looking young man of some years ago has since become a very rich guy----buying houses in U.K. and the U.S. He also has grown so fat that he no longer has a neck!

With this new opportunity, one can only imagine what his "reward" will be----governor of Lagos State? Good for you Toks-----but bad for the noise-makers who always unwittingly create the enabling environment for you to thrive amidst chaos!
