After about 15 minutes, I could no longer listen to this nonsense from Adujie. Here are my reasons:
1) He is arguing in the broadcast that Obasanjo is not going for the third term, but all his writings on NVS are in the opposite opinion.
2) Nigeria is my mother land and all those colluding to ruin it are enemies of Nigeria and Adujie is on the top of the list.
3) Mr Adujie is lying about me because he clearly stated that the majority of Nigerians in USA are in support of constitutional mutilation by Obasanjo

Banana State of Adujie’s OBJ: Court Orders Arrest Of IG
Tribune
A Lagos State High Court presided over by Justice Inumidun Akande, has ordered the immediate arrest of Inspector General of Police, Mr. Sunday Ehindero, over his refusal to appear before it in the case of a libel suit.

In the same vein, a warrant of arrest has also been issued on the Investigative Police Officer (IPO) in the matter, Mr. Samuel Oluwole Agboola, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, for his failure to appear before the court on the same issue.
Justice Akande gave the directive after several attempts to ensure the presence of the duo in court to throw more light on an alleged complicity of the police in a case involving one Chief Funso Ologunde, Carnaud Metal Box Toyo Glass Nigeria Plc and Adetutu Buraimoh had failed.

The plaintiff, Chief Funso Ologunde, is claiming the sum of N150 million as aggravated damages for libel against the defendants, Carnaud Metal Box Toyo Glass Nigeria Plc and Adetutu Buraimoh for words falsely and maliciously published by them against him.
The second defendant, Mr. Adetutu Buraimoh, had written a petition to the police where he accused the plaintiff, Chief Ologunde, of a plot to terminate his life after he was relieved of his appointment with the company.
The presiding judge, Justice Inumidun Akande, had adjourned till April 20, 2006 for continuation of the trial.

Guesto, go relax! You are not the only Nigerian on the planet. And you cannot expect everyone to reason like you. Nigeria belongs to all of us.....not just you all-knowing, self-righteous guys that prowl the internet.

The bottom line of this comment is: learn to accommodate divergent views on Nigerian issues.

Yeah, listening to the broadcast makes me lose the last iorta of respect I have for Paul Adujie. This guy is a rambler. Very pathetic indeed!
I give Kudos to Sowore, he vibrated very well. Overall, it was as though Paul Adujie was given too much time to repeat his garbage, over and over again.

Keep it up NVS!

Who is repeating "can I respond?" I thought that's the purpose of the conference.

I never knew that Paul Adujie was that pathetic. It's a shame that Paul had occupied my writing space for some time. Poor Paul, the hungry lawyer has been trying to find his economic bearing in the USA. The pro-Obasanjo bandwagon offers the opportunity and Paul is taking it. Kudos Paul Adujie. Man must wak.

Adujie is given too much attention. The Villagesquare should be careful not to lose credibility. Adujie is a paid agent and should be struck off the list of contributors here.

Read the following article very, very very carefully; pay attention to all the words of Obasanjo:

Why OBJ wants 6yrs single term
By John Nwokocha and LEKAN BILESANMI
Sunday, May 01, 2005
http://odili.net/news/source/2005/may/1/300.html

President Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday admitted being the brain behind the recommendation of six-year single tenure for the nation's president and other elected officials in the controversial draft constitution purportedly submitted to the on-going National Political Reform Conference (NPRC).

Obasanjo explained that the Federal Government tinkered with the five-year single term for the nation's number one citizen and the other elected officials recommended by the All Parties Constitution Review Committee, set up at the inception of his administration in 1999, to arrive at the six-year single tenure.

But the president vowed that the recommendation to the NPRC was not made with the intention that he would be the first beneficiary if it was ultimately adopted as a constitutional provision, as, according to him, he was already on his way out of office.
The recommendation, as contained in the draft constitution, had triggered insinuation that it was part of a grand plan by Obasanjo to extend his stay in office beyond 2007 when the two terms he was entitled to under the 1999 Constitution that brought him to power lapse.
The president, who spoke yesterday on his monthly radio programme aired on the network of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), The President Explains, said he opted for the six-year single tenure for the president because he believed it was the best for the country.

His words: "One of the things that I believe should be amended (in the constitution) is the tenure of elected officers. I have been in this country for some time and I have come to realise that if you are coming into office fresh, you need at least one year to understand what is involved.

"If you are really going to work, you need a minimum of four years to do the work so that the last one year will be for campaign.

"It does not matter whether you are re-contesting or not re-contesting. In fact, some of the problems will still be there. So, my own idea is that you need one year to study, four years to do the work and one year to round off.

"So, I know about the amendment in the draft constitution".
Ruling himself out as a beneficiary of the six-year term if it becomes a constitutional provision, he told his audience: "I have a constitution that brought me into office and which will take me out.

"That constitution allows for two terms of four years each. I have finished the first term and the second term is going on. I am talking from my farm, you are talking to me from my farm now, you should know that the president of Nigeria is about to leave".

Shedding more light on how the draft constitution, which has been rejected as a memorandum by the NPRC on the grounds that it was not submitted before the expiration of the deadline to do so, came into being, the president stated that immediately he came to office during his first term, "we agreed that all (political) parties should come together and look at the constitution with a view to making it a more workable document for the country".

According to him, all amendments carried out that resulted in the outcome as draft constitution were sent to all the state attorneys-general.
"All past reports were put together to make the draft constitution", Obasanjo pointed out.
Answering a caller's question on the House of Representatives demand that Nigeria should repudiate her $37billion debt, the president admitted that the lawmakers position was understandable.

But he asked Nigerians to give him more time to plead with the nation's creditors so that the debt problem could be amicably sorted out.
"I am sure the creditors want us to have stability and they know this is not possible with the debt overhang", Obasanjo stated.

Speaking on the theme of his address during the radio programme, Peace and Security at Home and Abroad, the president pointed out that peace and security within and beyond the nation's borders should be the concern of everybody, not only government.
He emphasized that the nation needed development which, according to him, could not be achieved in an atmosphere of conflict, violence, insecurity, as well as economic, political and social crises, saying, "We are doing a lot to maintain peace and security. Nigeria is all over Africa and the world promoting peace".

Obasanjo also spoke about food and employment generation as part of the areas government was concentrating efforts on to achieve peace and security.
"If you have no employment, you are dangerous not only to yourself but also to your family and the society. That is why this administration is emphasizing employment for as many of our citizens as we can. The on-going national conference is part of security and peace building. If people come together to talk about their problems with a view to devising the means to overcome them, there would be less friction in the society", the president stated.

He continued: "I have said it that everybody should be able to contest election in the country and it has been accepted. That is part of security that we are talking about.
"We have invested in peace and security in Rwanda, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Cote D'Ivoire. We are also talking with our neighbours.

Note these things:
1) People like Adujie and others have been very loud stating that they love Nigeria and want unity for Nigeria.
2) Yet, they support the changing of the constitution so that Obasanjo could continue his current incompetent leadership
3) Atiku complains; these same people, using criminal means to force OBJ down our throats, want Atuki’s head (further proving the danger they pose for all Nigerians)
4) Atiku is stopped by these same people from entering Lagos (further proving that they are not smart, are very irrational, and devoid of historical knowledge of Nigeria)

Questions:
If OBJ can change the constitution to benefit him and his thugs, then why must Atiku not vent his mind on the illegality?

Who has done Nigeria more harm: the man who changes the constitution to remain in office against the will of the majority or the man who speaks against such a criminal act?

For this broadcast:
Adujie refused to answer the question whether OBJ should declare his intention to run in 2007. In fact, he advised OBJ not to run to the podium. Does this show that Adujie is concerned about the wellbeing of Nigeria or about the narrow interests of OBJ? Given the events of the past few days, how smart are these people arguing for OBJ’s extension? If OBJ has done good for Nigeria; if majority of Nigerians wants him to continue (as Adujie claimed in the broadcast); then why not discuss the achievements of OBJ; why not allow all contestants to run instead of intimidating them; why not fight Atiku with facts instead of throwing him out of Lagos?

Subtle Implication:
OBJ can withhold Lagos Local Government funds and support the dethroning of Ladoja against the rulings of the courts and he is welcomed in Lagos and Oyo state as the Messiah of Adujie; but if Atiku utters a word against such injustice, he must be banned from Yoruba Land.
Supposing that other ethnic groups start now to ban their perceived political enemies from entering their own parts of Nigeria. Where can OBJ thread in Nigeria? Where can Anenih or George Bode go now?
How does this show rationality? How have you displayed your rational accommodation of opposing sides? Who is the real enemy of Nigeria – you or opponents of third term?

The plan for this current third-term has been on the works for a long time. Note how the plan has shifted from 6-years term (thereby excluding OBJ third-term bid) to the current 12-years term. What guarantees that the plan will not shift again from 12-years term to 24-years term?
