Umar Yar’Ardua reject VP offer

Saharareporters, New York

An aggressive attempt by President Obasanjo to replace Atiku ran into a major snag yesternight as his anointed “presidential candidate”, ailing governor of Katsina State, Umar Yar’Ardua rejected the offer from Obasanjo to replace Vice President Abubakar Atiku.

A reliable source told Saharareporters that President Obasanjo, due to what his aides termed, “the unpopular candidature” of Umar Yar’ardua had contemplated that making Yar’Adrua the VP at this time will boost his chances in the upcoming elections in 2007. But Yar’Ardua was quoted as telling Obasanjo that he cannot find any constitutional basis for accepting the VP position from the president, since he is still battling with the legitimacy of his candidature amongst party faithfuls, especially state governors said to have massively abandoned him since he was imposed on the PDP by Obasanjo and his cronies.

Our source said that the Presidential aircraft earlier seized from Atiku had already been stationed to pick up Umar Yardua for what ought to have been a swearing in ceremony, however the trip had been cancelled and the jet returned to Abuja .It is not clear if anyone have accepted the position as at press time or if Obasanjo intend to shield his sword as he is being told not to embark on this mission by constitutional experts set up by one of his close friends from the Southwest.

This is good news as it means he would not be OBJ's lackey if he becomes president if he can say no to him at this point in the game.

Yar-Adua is nobody's fool.

Mr. Obasanjo needs to be confronted with impeachment such that his hands will be full of problems to allow the country have a fair election and a new govenment. He as the president has broken so many laws that are sufficient for his removal.Even if Mr. Abubarkar is corrupt and has stollen all these moneys, Mr. Obasanjo has humiliated him sufficiently and wrongfully that he needs to be paid back with some bad coins. A removal to end his stay abruptly will serve a yard stick of disgrace and a contianment to stop this bull from breaking most of the plates in this chinese store.

Another blank fired by Sahara Reporters, another unfounded, sentimentally biased journalism. This type of media-contagion is what I stand against.
I shall be responding to this ridiculous media recklessness by this media outfit in a few minutes.

From the above, we are able to glean that:

1. Sahara Reporters fired "another blank".

2. The fired blank is an example of drive-by journalism.

3. The SR publication is "irresponsible".

4. Aiksmart will be responding in a few minutes.

Aiksmart, after reading you up there, I thought, perhaps, you should consider employing an announcer to announce your coming whenever you have something important to say on NVS. That way, you will have time to focus on the more important issue of rolling out a solid refutal or 'dismembering' whatever "Sahara Reporters" has published on NVS.

I doubt you will convince anyone this time though, because the last time you tried laundering the image of that fraud contesting for governorship in Anambra (Emmanuel Nnamdi Uba), you could hardly convince yourself - talk less of convincing anyone in your audience, of his innocence.

I bet we can expect more of the same from you again.

I can't wait!

Auspicious.

Auspi,
You remain my guys and a funny guy at that hope you enjoyed Xmas jare!

Anyhow, this is in a way a "blank" story. It should come as no surprise that if indeed Ya'radua was offered the job he would indeed decline the job. He indeed has a hard enough job to now mount and express campaign in 36 states of Nigeria, checkmate Atiku and Buhari in the process and convince the nay sayers. So why on earth would he accept the VP slot with the wahala baggage that it is sure to carry!???? Why should a guy who has thing going for him proceed to shoot himself in the foot? And what's the big deal of him saying, no thank you baba bigi belle sir!?

So I am sure that no serious minded person would have expected him to accept the offer, it was either just a journalistic creation, another weird logic of Obasanjo or Aso Rock gossip.

Hi Auspi,
I really do not need an announcer, you are doing a tremendous job of it.
Well, I deleted the 1st posting however the NVS server did not follow through with my delete request/action, I guess I will need to discuss it with NVS-Admin and maybe understand why this is happening.

Auspi, you do not speak for the entire villagers, if you wish to learn constructively, then be my guest, but if you wish to argue from a skewed mind-set, then my informative articles will be of no benefit to you or anyone that thinks like that.

Best Regards
Ike Chidolue
