Anambra State: Chris Uba Abducted!

A kingpin of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State and acclaimed godfather, Chris Uba has been arrested by security agents a day before the contentious governorship elections in the state involving his brother, Andy Uba and former governor Dr. Chris Ngige of the Action Congress.

His family fears he may be assassinated by his abductors.

As at the time of this report, his friends and family have not been able top identify those who “took him away and where he was taken to” a family member told The Times of Nigeria over the telephone.

“They say they are security agents but we are not sure of their real identity.” The family member said.

Chris Uba and his brother Andy Uba have been locked in a political battle over the control of Anambra state and Chris Uba has been rumored to have concluded plans to work against his brother’s interest by supporting the candidacy of Ngige, his erstwhile political foe.

Hi, folks!

Glory be to GOD Almighty most high! There is hope for Anambra State. There is hope for Nigeria.

Another outcome of the Law of Unintended Consequences: Hostage taking as a guarantee for re-engineering the dysfunctional relationship between the winners and the losers; from Oloibiri to Awka; from Port Harcourt to Abuja from Forcados to Maiduguri.

Don't forget, it all started from the swamps of the Niger Delta: i.e. the capacity to look at your oppressor, straight in the face, and do whatever the fcuk you feel damned right to do with your life. Definitely, the contagion is spreading.

Halleluia!

Muchas gracias.

Does anyone still doubt that Anambra is the "best and greatest state in eastern Nigeria"?

I smell 419

May very well be a good strategy and serve nothing more than a decoy.

If the man is abducted then he cannot be blamed for any rigging.

There is this thought in me that won’t away go yet: that this is good for the state - a captive has been caught. I hope his life is spared and he disengages from any activity in that troubled state.

Cheers,
