Good news if true, with a President of OBJ's dictatorial tendencies, we need as much as we can get in judicial radicalism.

if these is true,,then we are vindicated by the position we took when the macabre dance started on nov 13 or thereabout viz

Hi Folks,
This is one of the most trying times in the history of democracy in our country.Never in any situation has democracy been ridiculed, mocked and trampled upon like it is being done in our beloved country Nigeria today.Yet one person who calls himself I Love Nigeria is happy that Democracy is beind destroyed in the name of bringing corrupt public officers to book. This is disheartning.

I heve the priviledge of provinding a first hand information on the situation in plateau state. It is undeniable that Gov Joshua chibi Dariye is doing little or nothing in the state. It is undeniable that Gov Joshua chibi Dariye cares less about the poverty striken people of plateau state. It is undeniable that Gov Joshua chibi Dariye has no master plan for the health sector of the state. It is undeniable that Gov Joshua chibi Dariye is owing school teachers some months salary. It is undeniable that Gov Joshua chibi Dariye has left the roads in the state in a terible condition compared to what is obtainable in neighbouring states like Bauchi and Kaduna. With all these, we have every reason to say Gov Joshua chibi Dariye is no longer fit to govern the state as he has failed in delivering to the people of the state. But the big question is:what method should be adopted in removing him.

I make bold to say that all the processes and the methods adopted in removing Gov Joshua chibi Dariye is totally unconstitutional, illegal, null and void.It smacks short of what the constitution states.Yours Sincerely

This 9ja self na wa!

According to Sahareporter the woman Dariye was laundering his state money was convicted in London

The legislooter in his state would not do anything to him because dem be thief too.

So thru carrot and stick EFCC booted Dariye out and he went into hiding.

The Judiciary (as in shaking azz everywhere) says the thief needs to con tinue stealing.

Meanwhile, according to Gwobe and his ilks, the people support Dariye.

I bet we deserve the people and govt ruling us.

As long as we leave corruption in the hands of criminal courts where the standard for conviction is very high, Nigeria will remain corrupt for ever. Poor Nigeria.

Likewise, if we try to protect the law by breaking the law or by resorting to jungle justice then we are not going anywhere either.
We should therefore insist on the rule of law, slowly but surely we will get there.

If Ribadu and OBJ were interested in fighting corruption, they would have fought tirelessly for the removal of the immunity clause. But , it seems they were more interested in settling political score.

Tonsoyo,
I read an article here yesterday - Regress to square one on corruption- I have to agree that many clever lawyer like O.J lawyer can beat the system when it comes to this hundle prosecutors have to climb in corruption cases. This is not about the rule of law, it is a joke, when people who stole the Country blind can easily get away.
Beating the law in criminal cases does not mean your are innocent, it only means the prosecutor has not eliminated all doubts and you know it. Lack of morals will not let corrupt people step away from office. Tom Delay and Abraham Jack Off can run as President and Vice President in Nigeria. Blair fund raiser can move to Nigeria and become Majority Leader. Richard Nixon and Spiro Agnew would florish in Nigeria. Sickening!
