It is a well known fact that there is no constant thing in life other than change, whether we willing agreed or not. The recent publications credited to Ibrahim Dan Malikin Gidan Goga, the Zamfara State Commissioner of information, financed by the Zamfara State Government in the Daily Trust of Thursday, December, 4, 2008 and Leadership Newspaper of the same day sounds ridiculous and pathetic, that every faithful individual will only say “Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihirrajiun” (Indeed, from Allah we came and unto him we shall return).

 It is obvious to note that the present Zamfara State government had lost focus, but sooner or later, the evil that men do, will live after them and the NEMESIS shall forever conquer them. For the fact that His Excellency now Senator Ahmad Sani Yariman Bakura, the one and only ex-governor of that stood firm in bequeathing his seat for the benefit of his deputy Mahmuda Aliyu Shinkafi. Even at the brim of affairs when all the Governors in the country who are serving for the second term declined their support in favour of their deputies. Yet Yarima renewed his remarkable pledge to his deputy. One will expect that the successor will be forever grateful to Yarima for violating the general Governors’ Forum Practice.

 Today, what we are witnessing is the reverse of the case, while, the deputies that were deprived succession by their respective Governors at that time were still parleying with their individual ‘sirs’. The only deputy that inherits the throne of leadership to become ‘sir’ is now viciously battling for the vicissitude of his master, mentor and political godfather.

 Through, we believe in change, but what argument on earth could be advanced to determine the root of this fallacy. If those denied such privilege(s) could swallow their bitter pills and let go, what on earth could warrant such behaviour of a ‘sacred cow’ ‘GROSS BETRAYAL’, I should have written it in block letters, using iron to crave it for proper understanding of the phenomena. Has Yarima done a bad thing to stand firm in making Shinkafi his successor? And believe me; Yarima has not and never marginalized Shinkafi even when he was his deputy. If such marginalization occurred let him say it to the world, but the way it is defined, Shinkafi was trying to deprive other deputy Governors serving for the second term the privilege of being Governors for the fear of Shinkafi style betrayal. It is now up to them to counter react.

To react on the advertorial that Shinkafi has devoted himself and public money into; the various media services been paid by Zamfara State Government running into millions of naira has not yielded any fruit; due to the fact that nemesis is at the doorsteps of their calumny. They do nothing but incitements through ridiculous, malicious and fallacious fabrications aiming at insinuating and denting the image and character of Yarima. Although, I believe with an open heart like that of Yarima ; their bad intentions will always be halted by the will of Allah (S.W.T) consequently the campaign of calumny they perpetrated against him will Insha Allah turn to be praises and honour in the eyes of the people of Zamfara State.

It is ironic for Shinkafi to bulldoze himself over the people, his recent decamping from the ANPP where he was elected to the ruling PDP was a clear indication that the end of the road has come. Knowing fully that upon all the Zamfara Mafias and Kingpins in the PDP, Yarima was able to win the elections consecutively and at the same time secure his senate as well as Shinkafi’s gubernatorial elections. What gods is he proud of, the people of Zamfara have no one except the person that introduced shariah legal system and made them free from mental and economic slavery. Their prayers and trust in Allah will forever be with Yarima. His good intentions and open heart will forever be over Zamfara State with Allah’s blessings and mercies.

Shinkafi’s decamping from ANPP to PDP has been in fear of EFCC because of the dirty deals swept under the carpets of the authorities within his government. The skeleton in their various cupboards made them to be so much afraid that they became so much terrified when certain Film Makers that were using locations in crannies of streets of the State shooting films were misconstrued as EFCC officials. What inspired them was because of their misdeeds and misappropriation of public funds, petitions from aggrieved Talakawas were sent to the EFCC and was set to take photograph of their house built with some portions of the loot. (Ha Ha Ha Banza ta Kori Wofi!) What is Yarima’s involvement in this matter if not their mischievous intention of Crude vendetta?

Yarima has been a person with outstanding qualities that has not even thought of sponsoring rejoinder on their various publications, he believed that Allah is one and only, could judge between them, with Allah’s intervention now they have left the ANPP and will continue to bless the ANPP and will continue to win elections in Zamfara State . Democracy is all about people and Yarima is with them. He has no enemy in Zamfara State, even those so called Shinkafis, they made themselves his enemies, but Yarima has never seen them as one rather he sees them as political prostitutes that migrate frequently with migration of power and money.

To the average Zamfara State indigene there is no way they will not sympathize with Yarima both in principles and ideology. A man with vision and mission, he promised and fulfilled. The person that made Zamfara State to be on the news both within and without the country for the adoption of Islamic law upon all the media campaign against Yarima by the Zamfara government and its agents. Yet people are trouping on daily basis renewing their support for him and his ideology. The Shinkafis should note that what has been predestined must be there and stop wallowing.

On the claims that several responsible people that served under Yarima now involve themselves in Shinkafi’s government. Except for those that apparently portray themselves as ingrates, Yarima is still relevant in their social and political life and as such they still regard Yarima as a father and mentor. For the fact that they are serving under Shinkafi’s government, it does not mean that they are together in both good and evil. There are so many differences. How many of them are seems to be comfortable with his idea of cross-carpeting?

The claim of Yarima’s hostility against Shinkafi’s government has been parallel to the actual situation obtainable on the ground where the reverse is the case. Many pro-Yarima were maltreated and made to suffer physical and psychological tortures by the agents of Shinkafi. Several instances where pro-Yarima were frustrated and discriminated when it comes to government’s social responsibilities. Is Shinkafi’s government only meant for his cohorts?

Those speculations on ‘ground projects’ claimed by Dan Maliki and his oriented vagabonds could only be regarded as a prelude projects in comparison with Yarima’s achievements in ZACAREP, ZAPA, ZASIDEP, ZADP and various other development projects that are presently being copied by the federal government and other State governments in the country.

Dan Maliki has been one of those people that benefited immensely from the generosity of Yarima’s government; he was made to rise from grass to grace, from the ordinary position to the position of a Managing Director, Permanent Secretary and Commissioner. But for an ingrate, instead of thanking Allah (SWT) for the favour he ended up biting the very hands that fed him. “Lo Minkind is a betrayer” like father like son, the leader of the infamous ingrates team of Zamfara is also another perfect example, include, the 20th century Fox, Zubairu Musa .

If the likes of Saminu Turaki could decamped to the ruling PDP from ANPP and could not escape the wrath of the EFCC who is Shinkafi, I sincerely believed that the rule of law prevalence in Nigeria and the anti-graft war by the present administration of Alhaji Ummaru Musa Yaradua, will not relent its efforts, they will surely leave no stone unturned even if you happened to be the most closest among his several in-laws. The sanctity of marriage as an institution is quite different from leadership responsibilities and the oath of office on the other hand.

The wrath of law will never be condoned, and will continue to be vigilant on all ingrates both in office and those violators of matrimonial sanctity that subdued their wives to ill treatments, betrayals and evils to attain material recognition on earth will finally meet up with nemesis of what they perpetrated with their own evil hands. Therefore enough is enough for the wise. It is high time for the Shinkafis to advice him to realign his commitments with his creator, many have passed with worst deceit, betrayals, misappropriation of public funds and many evils. They are now part of history, and time will surely tell who happens to be on the right path and those that erred.
