I Am Rev. Dr. King, too Print E-mail

I am Rev. Dr. King, too

For I surely had a dream,

Of pyramids of naked women

Serving dinner, stirring daddy

No bras, no thongs,

Just anointed maids of Calvary hill

Permanent on earth

Privileged in heaven…

Of congregation of clapping sheep

Worshipping a shadow

God the incarnate, kinky and all

Calling my fart, compulsion cologne

And my beard, a forest of angels.

Trumpet of indulgence, I blew

Crusade of desire, I led.

I have been to the hip top and back

Not once, not twice, not thrice

Just again and again and again…

Like Ebenezer, I preached:

Why we can’t blink

Why we can’t think,

Not at shaky Isolo Bridge

But at ring-giving communion.

For quick-march-about-turn Lord’s Army

Sunday school lesson in rod flogging

For not kneeling when talking to me.

A bath in fuel that I gave for fornication

Led to my tribulation in Pharisee’s hand.

A baptism of fire that I administered

To maids - seekers of penis outside of mine,

Ended my kingdom on earth.

I accept,

I struck the match to fix bent minds

As founder and general overseer

I ordered another jerrycan of fuel…

Temptation is like an endless pit

You yield, you sink

You yield more, you sink more

Always a first but never the last.

Endless the pit must be

For when temptation ends

So ends the will to live.

My brethren,

Wait for my letter from Kirikiri

For in it my legacy shall rapture.

In the meantime,

In this coat of thorns

I will die like Jesus.

Though not on the cross,

Just by hangman’s noose-

The same hangman

Who just finished with Saddam.

I am Rev. Dr. King, too

No, not the one that had a dream

But the one that lived the dream.

Dr Damages, Lol, men this is quite a piece or would I say masterpiece. Your poetic vision is quite strong and I am sure you have a bunch of other materials in your poetic bank. Keep it up.
Cheers

Ugo,

au contraire, Dr. King IS AN XTIAN.

He said so, he confessed with his mouth that Jesus was Lord. Is there any other requirement to be a born again Xtian?

Dr. King has already been forgiven of his sins by Jesus, that is if there is any sin in following the commandments laid down in the
Book of Levicticus. The Xtian hypocrites are those who can't find it in themselves to follow the Word and practice forgiveness.

Judge not, for judgement belongs to the Lord.

Obugi.

Dear Obugi,

I have no need to "forgive" Rev Dr. King.
He did not wrong me.

He has the laws of Heaven and Nigeria to
contend with. And I think he is at that now --
one after the other!

I only made a clarification.
If a Kenyan comes out claiming to be a Nigerian
and in the process, rubbishes the name of Nigeria
by some hideous acts he commits, what is wrong in my saying:
'Hey! that fellow is not a Nigerian!'

My dear, mere confession of Jesus as Lord cannot make
one a Christian.
There is more to it, like heartfelt repentance, asking
for forgiveness and restitution, in case some people
were hurt in the process.
It is this over-simplification of a very serious matter with
eternal consequences that is a serious issue in today's
Christianity.
I sugest you re-read the artile whose link I provided in my
comment: http://www.saharareporters.com/da001.php?daid=106

Final point: Unless you intend to ridicule Christianity (which is an entirely
different matter), there is no way you can associate the revolting actions
of this fellow with the holy God. Look at the report below:

http://www.sunnewsonline.com/webpages/news/national/2006/oct/12/national-12-10-2006-03.htm

Well, if he has wronged me personally, I will forgive him, why not?
But that does not remove anything from the fact that, as the Yoruba
proverb says: "The Butterfly may pretend to be a bird, but the truth is that it is not one"

Ugochukwu,

But you did judge the man though, didn't you?

Hypocrisy, I say. Jesus said judge not, OK? Jesus himself said it, OK? Repeat it a few times so you'll get it. As for heartfelt repentance, have you been inside the heart of Rev King?

Obugi.
