 Dear President Obasanjo:

This is a true story involving the famous Dr. Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello. In 1988, during her National Youth Service in Ibadan ,

Oyo   State of Nigeria, you can ask her to confirm. On a hot day, in the Orientation Camp in Ede , someone saw this crowd of

young men heckling this quiet lady. Upon inquiry; he could hear them torment her that her father stole all of Nigeria ’s money

and built his farm with it. Some of the young men spoke in Hausa, some were from Delta, and a few were Yoruba. Stretching

forth to all of his five foot four inches frame (never mind, he had powerful six-footers as friends), this person firmly and surely

rebuked the young men for trying to visit the perceived sins of the father upon the daughter in Hausa. Then, after he

dispatched the young men, he reported to the Camp   Commandant  so he may look out for her.

Yours Truly,

Eric Terfa Ula-Lisa, Esq.

Hear hear Ula-Lisa!

Perhaps you should add for good measure for the benefit of the deaf and dumb beneficiaries, that it is a crime to handle the proceeds of crime and that ignorance is no excuse in law.

Aluta!

Hi, folks!

According to our good friend, Mr. Eric Ula-Lisa Esq., some eighteen (18) years ago, one Miss Iyabo Olusegun-Obasanjo, now Mrs. (Dr.) Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello, who was at that time in her twenties, (the daughter of a supposedly ultra-patriotic one-time Nigerian military despot, now masquerading as the civilian sole autocrat of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, General Olusegun Obasanjo), did her so-called national service in Oyo State, almost next door to her state of origin, Ogun State!

Patriotism my nyash!

One sunny day, at the NYSC orientation camp in Ede, Oyo State, a motley crowd of young men heckled young Miss Iyabo Olusegun-Obasanjo, tormenting her about the fact that her beloved father, His Excellency General Okikiolakan Olusegun Aremu Mathew Obasanjo (GCFR) stole Nigeria’s money to build his farms at Otta and elsewhere nationwide.

The lesson of the short story is that, while trying to build a united and prosperous nation, the Nigerian political elite and status quo, including their immediate and extended relations, those very persons on whose behalf they have to loot the national treasury dry, must remember that, someday, somehow, sooner or later, they will have to live among their peers, and confront the gory details of the reality of their stewardship while in power being played back for them, very cheekily, in slow-motion.

I agree, in toto!

Finally, although a word is enough for the wise, quite unfortunately, a website is not enough for an imbecile!

Muchas gracias.
