“by going on the much talked about strike, Labour will only be showing ingratitude to President Obasanjo who unilaterally increased salaries and wages in his first term against all odds, while adding that the NLC was going too far, by provoking a Head of State who was a military man”. Audu Ogbe, Daily Independent Online of June 8, 2004

If democracy is the only system of government whereby rulers are accountable and have to report to the people; where the people are the repositories of ultimate power, while rulers are simply stewards empowered to serve their interests, then the most charitable conclusion that could be drawn in the spirit of generosity and in the language of studied restraint from the above citation, is that; it is either that feudalism flows in Audu Ogbe’s veins or that he was a slave driver in his last re-incarnation, if that is a tenable option, or that he is ontologically stupid and a democratic moron. In this instance, no midway exists. There is no escape route for him. It is sychophants like Audu Ogbe who keep on propping Obasanjo up, to the extent that he sees himself as an August Emperor by Divine Rights, appointed from the valley, shadow and dungeon of death to lord it over the rest of Nigerians. And to this effect, his whims and caprices must be promulgated roughshod into a decalogue, that Nigerians must mandatorily follow or risk some bout of his discountenance. On this occasion, Ogbe had actually proved his mettle as a very good dog, simply for the sake of the rickety piece of bone that is the Party chairmanship, which he owes to OBJ’s manipulative tentacles. This is not his first time of portraying that he possesses a puerile and primitive propensity to peddle the dictatorial debauchery of a feudal power matrix in the sancrosanct halls of democracy. In the first instance, he attempted though, in a very nauseatingly wooden fashion to hoodwinked the world that the presidentially sanctioned attempt to kidnap a sitting governor in Anambra State was a party’s family affair. This means that crimes committed against the Nigerian people and the Nigerian state under their watch are rebaptised into something else as to erase their culpability and continue the regime of crime. This equally means that the “PDP’s family affairs“ are consists of crimes and conspiracies.

The facts have come home to all right thinking people that Mr. Audu Ogbe and Mr. Obasanjo, like so many other African politicians, have forgotten that they were hired at the good pleasure of the people; in this instance, the Nigerian masses. And that these masses reserve the full and absolute rights to fire them, when they outlive their usefulness or overstay their welcome. In every democractic power equation, the people are the masters and the leaders are servants. In lieu of this, no apologies can ever be reserved for visionless politicians who like Judas betray their masters for thirty pieces of silver like Ogbe has just done in the above statements credited to him. In fact, his words sounded very much like the bleatings of a castrated he-goat. To this end, Audu Ogbe should resign his appointment immediately; that inglorious pedestal of idiocy from where he pontificates like a debauched Roman emperor over the rapacious plunder of the Nigerian masses. People like Audu Ogbe and their crazy utterances have shown that Nigerian politicians are an unfunny joke. No man who desires job security ever insults his employer. But it has always remained factual that politicians who were never elected by the people or rather who connived to steal the people’s mandate, as Audu Ogbe and his horde of PDP gangsters did across Nigeria, in 2003, are condemned to view the people as articles of no value, to be exploited at the good pleasure of the hegemonic ogre bestriding Nigeria now. The realisation have really come home to roost, that Audu Ogbe can be so spinelessly stupid as to tell Nigerians not to provoke our all Holy and Almighty Emperor Obasanjo, who saw it fit to allow a reckless regime of impoverishing policies to wipe off the purchasing power of the Nigerian masses. Audu Ogbe by trying to intimidate Nigerians into a moronic aquiescence, by advertising the military background of Obasanjo has by that simple reason joined the band of inglorious idiots who dare to heap insults upon the injuries inflicted on Nigerians by a very bad and incompetent government. Audu Ogbe is not comfortable like all Nigerian dictators and psychophants of the past, that Nigerians have decided for once, not to die in silence. It seems that this government seeks the death of all Nigerians before it can realise how painful it is to live in Nigeria today. Audu Ogbe can afford to let this drool of pious and patronizing nonsense ooze down his compromised lips because he is a part of the inglorious band of thieves presently ruling Nigeria. He neither stands in the petrol queue to buy fuel. Neither does he earn 5,000 a month or pay for house rent. Neither does he have to go to the Nigerian markets to buy stuff for his family. His shopping is most probably done in some Western capital. His medical bills are picked by the Nigerian tax payers while his medical check ups are in some choice hospitals in Europe or America. To this end, he can afford to tell Nigerians not to provoke Obasanjo.

Nigerians gave OBJ power and we want the man we called to serve us to follow a certain track that suits our cirmcumstance. When Nigerians allowed him to stay on that seat of power, being accountable to them was etched in the core of that arrangement. Obasanjo has no other mandate except to protect and advance the best interests of the majority of Nigerians. But he abandoned it to dance to the rickety drums of a few vested elitist interests made up of the richest one percent of Nigerians, their foreign collaborators as well as the Neo-colonial strings of the creditor institutions; while the majority of Nigerians are pushed into the ghettos of poverty, pain and hunger. Obasanjo’s government have decidedly abused his mandate, as follows his own will, while his lieutenants who on very many occasions have radically abused Nigerians are yet threatening us by advertising the dangerous anger and the iron fangs of our Most Dreaded Emperor. A ruler such as this is only fit to be kicked out of that office by popular uprising. Audu ogbe like a member of the corrupt French Bourbon Monarchy, is living a sinful life of comfortable ease at the people’s expense. That is why he can afford to make that kind of silly remarks.

He was reported as saying that the Nigerian workers should be grateful to Obasanjo for raising workers salary. What an insipid way to insult our intelligence? Why should we grateful to OBJ for doing what he was was supposed to do. It is like thanking a man for going to urinate, which is a natural function. Is increasing the workers salary a favour that he owes Nigerian workers or is it their fundamental rights deeply enshrined in their contracts? What effect has the increased salary had on the lives of these workers when the government’s avowed goal is give the people as little as possible and to steal as much as possible from them? Are Nigerians idiots that should eat shit from any hypocrite that sings the praises of tyranny for his daily bread. Nigerians are dying of hunger and Ogbe had the effrontery to tell us not to provoke a military Obasanjo. In fact, Ogbe has provoked Nigerians enough with his insults. Who is Ogbe and who is Obasanjo that the Nigerian masses that kept quiet when they stole power should continue to cower at their feet.

All this point to the fact that those at the helm of affairs in PDP are congenital tyrants, or men suckled on the curds of despotism and autocracy. It is so very unfortunate that we have this kind of groteque incompetent leaders. Little wonder that Nigeria is retrogressing at all fronts. Nigerians do not know how much Ogbe makes in a year and how much taxes he pays, yet he is opening wide his stinking mouth to insult a people beaten down by years of government induced poverty and pain.

When IBB introduced SAP in Nigeria in 1986, Obasanjo shouted from the rooftops of his Ota farms, that SAP should be given a human face. Today, his policies are worst than that of SAP under IBB, and he does not want to give that a human face. I have always asked why the down stream sector of the Nigerian petroleum industry should be liberalised, while developed countries are very jealous in protecting their sensitive economic sectors, even against worldwide criticisms. Yet African visionless leaders are very busy knocking down all buffers protecting their people from exploitation by big businesses and transnational concerns. Any government that cannot protect the interests and ensure the welfare of its people is not fit to govern. Obasanjo has no excuse. Nigerians are really fed up with this crazy circle run around. Soviet Russia of 1917 will be the crazed antics of spoilts kids in comparison to Nigeria the day he people’s anger will be sufficiently insulted as to be awoken from ist slumber of inaction. Tzar Nicholas lost his head and has that of his family decapitated by the people’s anger. Ogbe and his likes should get their heads ready for the slaughter slab of the people’s anger, which is coming so very soon. I know that those deceptive spectacles that sits atop his nose does not aid his myopic vision. He can go on earning his keep by licking Obasanjo’s arse whenever he farts on the head of the Nigerian masses. But he should remember that toilet tissues that do that kind of job are naturally condemned to end up with the in the toilet pit together with the shitty stuff that they condescend to patronize and clean up. I urge Ogbe to continue his job of wiping OBJ’s arse, the patience of Nigerians is nearing the breaking point of its elasticity. The waters are ready. And the people will sooner or later flush down these desecrated pieces of human excrement that parade themselves as leaders down the toilet of eternal irrelevance. Lest I forget, Audu Ogbe should realise that the toilet tissues of necessity must go with them
