While an optimist stays up until midnight to see the New Year, a pessimist stays up to make sure that the past one leaves. Many Nigerians whether optimists or pessimist will however, be staying up to ensure that the insanities and shadows of 2008 are not carried over to 2009. This is the summary of the good, the bad and the ugly of 2008.
