Prof. Babalola Borishade dropped as Aviation Minister - Femi Fani-Kayode replaces him

I Just received a phone call from Nigeria that the Minister of Aviation, Associate Prof Borishade has been dropped. I was informed that president Obasanjo bowed to intense pressure from the National Assembly as well as from families of the ADC crash victims and Nigerians at large. Borishade has since been replaced by Femi Kayode. It is however not known at this point if Borishade was moved to the Culture and Tourisn Ministry or lost outrighly in the new arrangement.

This is the second time in the life of Obasanjo's rule that Prof Borishade will be appointed a minister and dropped on each occassion. He was previously an Education Minister. The question making the rounds now is if the former minister is perpetually jinxed.

If this is true, then democracy is truely in Nigeria. Aborishade is simply an entourage of the Orisha as his name suggests. He should not be seen close to power. While he was Minister of Education, he got the educational system of Nigeria to a very pitiable level, it became so degenerated that an average 4 years study course had to be completed in 8 years, due to strikes. He was full of fake promises.

His big mouth has not stopped him from blaming and raining curses on the Pilot as the course of the Abuja Crash. The Blackbox has not even arrived yet and people are morning. The pilot, Captain Kolawole Atanda has been in this business for about 30 years. His a Gentleman with family and would not suscribe to disrespecting safety regulations.

I wish Aborishade a safe sujourn away from Government for the rest of his life. Big Mouth, good for nothing Minister.

Hi folks!

When will there be a replacement of the sacked Minister of Transport, Dr. Abiye SEKIBO, the ONLY Federal Minister from Rivers State, seeing that he was in a hurry to find a quick replacement for a Minister of Aviation?

Or, is the Aviation Ministry more strategic than the Transport Ministry? Or, is it that some Nigerians are more equal than others? Abi, na Baba dey handle dat ministri too, like 'im dey handle Ministri of Crude Oil Blok allokeshon & petroleom prodokts importeshon (a.k.a Ministry of Petrleum Resources)? Abi, 'im done qworrel wit Odili, wan' start marzinalize Ribas Stet?

Muchas gracias.

Abeg, oh! He should be sacked outright and not simply moved to another ministry. he did a bad job in both the education and aviation ministries and should not be allowed to stay on as a minister.

I will be sorely ashamed of Prof. Borishade if he accepts another ministerial appointment in Nigeria. If you fail as a Minister twice irrespective of the portfolio, logic then dictates that he should go home and let other people be called up for national service.

Does he have no shame? Does he have no ideas of what he could be putting his knowledge and experience into? I can suggest he goes back to Ondo and have a farm.

And speaking of which, I do not know what credentials Fani-Kayode (another square peg in a round hole??) has to be despatched to what has now been a sensitive ministry if what has been our lot in the last 13 months be put into consideration.

Looks like Aborishade is Nigeria's Donald Rumsfeld. He bungles everything, yet his boss holds on tight to him.

Auspicious.

And what exactly does Femi Fani-Kayode know about the aviation sector? Is Obasanjo so daft that he can't pick from the crop of competent aviators and pilots of yesteryears? Isn't this another bungled opportunity by the ever fumbling septuagenarian of a president?

Has the Senate approved of this assignment (I honestly hope they dont).

Abraxas, abeg remind us again about how many days/weeks/months left for this incompetent president to vacate Aso Rock pata pata o'jare.

My buroda, no vex o, my atomic clock no dey with me right now. I go announce am latter. Sorry, you hear?

Ehen! This is to alert the Senate of the Federal Republic, under the distinguished presidency of the Right Honourable Chief Ken NNMANI
(GCON), that the Senate should appreciate the fact that most Nigerians, and friends of Nigeria, do not want a non-professional to head the aviation ministry, in view of their immediate past painful experiences.

And so, the Senate is hereby cordially requested NOT to approve the appointment of Deacon Chief Femi FANI-KAYODE as Minister of Aviation.

Muchas gracias.

Hello Villagers,
I belief it's high time we did something about this fast aging president of our country before he could damage our country beyond repair. I am of the opinion that he is manifesting symptoms of serious senility and needs to be called to order by we, the younger ones otherwise this will become a case of collective amnesia. Recently and quite recently the press was awashed with story of how Fani kayode was admitted into a psychiatry facility and he came out to admit that 'true true he don mad before but got healed in a faith institution in Ghana'. People wey know well well go sabi say no how, no how madness no dey finish for mad people body. Wetin now, why e com be say na dis kain person Obasanjo think say go be better Aviation minister. Femi Fani-Kayode is someone with questionable mental status and I think he should have nothing doing with something as serious as AVIATION otherwise the life of you and I is endagered. Remember this will only make us run from flying in Naija but the question is, IS OUR ROAD SAFER??????
