Every indicator shows that Saturday April 14, 2007 is going to see selected-representatives rather than elected-representatives in the country called
Nigeria
. This is a contradiction of constitutional democracy, a contradiction of socio-economic-political, regional makeup of Nigerian-states. Sharia constitutionalism—anchored on satanic verses—makes the situation worse, as Islamic faithful[s] do not believe in democratic practices as her religious belief-system pay allegiance to its religious leadership[s]. Worse still, the question of Jerusalem remains a bitter pill as unending struggle between the sons of Ishmael by the Egyptian woman—Haggai and the sons of Isaac in the Middle-East is carried-over into the country called Nigeria and elsewhere.
The end of the civil war [1967-1970] and its spoils have triggered the political machines of the Northern leadership to hold unto power as manifested in the 47 years of military-totalitarianism. It has failed to tolerate anything outside itself. These military regimes and today’s quasi-democratic system has become a by-product of sycophancy and mediocrity. This is true as the eight [8] years of misguided leadership of Mechanized General who was dusted out from jail-house to power by Northern oligarchy has failed its masters. Under Northern protectionism in its endless thirst for power has left the country called
Nigeria
in the hands of mundane. In the
Eastern Nigeria
, who are known for their republican constitutionalism—of actual representative government is today mortgaged because of military controlled leadership. From these differing political establishments, one can conclude therefore, that we can never co-existence under two constitutions—Sharia-Constitution and democratic constitution.
Under Arab-nationalism led by Mullahs in
Northern Nigeria
whose quest it is to dominance and conquer by any means necessary via its Islamic fundamentalism has made matters worse. Arab institutions are ideologically driven by Koran. These Koranic teachings are meant to aggressively subdue global political space[s] and impose Islamism on humanity, forever. Koran itself is an adulterated portion of biblical verses which they have turned into Satanic verses, as misquoted sacred chronicles are misinterpreted and used in murdering innocent folks at least provocation. Aggressions: Islamic hostilities and belligerency is not susceptible to electioneering and or republican constitutionalism. Republican constitutionalism can work in the
Eastern Nigeria
because it ones worked there. Nigeria-State will remain a failed state as long as we are forced to mix Catholicism and Islamism. Both religions have vowed not to be under any other religious law or leadership except its own—hence hostilities and more hostilities. These and many other reason is why Nigeria-state will not see the light of the day irrespective of Obasanjo’s selective-democratic-constitutionalism.
Muslim trainings do not permit or encourage constitutional democracy. But rather, it throws its weight behind what it called “positive dictatorial constitutionalism.” Markedly, this and other reasons led to the conquest of what is today called North-Afrikka by Ottoman led Jihad. Arab elites, its propaganda machines and intellectuals canvass for “positive dictatorship” because it benefits its ruling class while its masses are besieged under bewildering poverty and illiteracy. “Positive dictatorship” is satanic and evil and must be check-mated and even destroyed. ‘Positive dictatorship’ they claim is the best alternative for law and order and must be Sharia-based for it to succeed. In fact, they believe that the population or citizenry anywhere are not prepared or ready for democratic process except trained by Islam by force.
By 1959 they rejected calls for
Independence
and self-governance from the imperial British conquerors. If our declarations and estimations are right, then, we have no business dreaming of co-existence in Nigeria-state under these circumstances. From these disjointed, separated ideological establishments and bogus-constitutional democracy, it is an impossibility to operate and develop our borders under conflicting constitutions in our body politicks. True-federalism can only function under one constitution. Currently, nation-state called
Nigeria
has its sixteen [16] Northern States functioning under Sharia constitution and or religious edicts. This practice contradicts the purported one Nigerianism and will cause war in the near future if regionalism is not restored immediately.
INEC establishments, failed from the beginning as it failed to identify and differentiate its role under a constitutional federalism. It also failed to identify the role of law enforcement agencies and orderly society. INEC Chairman—Iwu, recently declared that it will order arrest of failing and corrupt politicians if they break any electioneering laws. My question therefore is what are law enforcement agencies there for? Have INEC Chairman being designated as law enforcement officer and legislature at the same time? In the same line, PDP leadership recently told Nigerians that it will allow or give some states to opposition parties in other to allow room for sustainable constitutional democracy. Obasanjo’s remarks is a disgrace to anything constitutionalism and federalism. Folks have neither shame nor pride.
Looking at
Western Nigeria
, one can observe that there exists somewhat representative governance. Nevertheless, its electioneering practices are laced with totalitarian loyalty which is aggressively dictated by a culture of violence—and Kabiesyism. From the foregoing, nothing seems to be working because there is no separation of power between the Church, Mosque, tradition[s] and State institutions. In the
Eastern Nigeria
, all elements of republican constitutionalism have been corrupted because of wild-fire-corruption that is spreading from the center to grass-roots. If Eastern-Nigeria and other regional nations-states are allowed to develop good principles, function and develop at its own pace and capacity without central intimidations, they will develop better and become better competitors at the international, national and local level. The current purported constitutional federalism is a farce. Indeed, leadership selections rather than election of leaders on Saturday April 14, is another smokescreen that postpones the doomsday.
It is fraudulent and criminal therefore to mix republican constitutionalism, selective electioneering compact with satanic verses. It’s like playing with fire. Any attempt to ignore these obvious conflicting ideologies is aberrational, insensitive to sanctity of lives, and irresponsible. There is a difference between Catholicism, Mormonism and Muslimism. If we refuse to observe this clash of ideologies—and differences, make effort to separate them then we are insensitive and intolerance to realities of today.
