Release Ralph Uwazurike Now: End the Killing of Biafran-Children Now

Self-determination remains a universal part and passage to freedom by all freedom loving people world-over. Oppressed and dehumanized peoples anywhere will always fight for their freedom no matter how long it takes—no matter how high the sacrifice. From United States revolution in 1700s to Russian revolution 1927, Cuba 1959, Ghana under J.J. Rawlings in the 80s, China under Chairman Mao in the 40s and more, witnessed the liberation of oppressed peoples. Oppression is evil; its dismissal must be swift. It is a task that must be accomplished irrespective of its challenges and smothering risks. In the country called Nigeria , economic, political and social oppressive policies against its people has become its second name. Proportionately, Igbo-Nation has been organizationally and systemically marginalized from all socio-economic and political structures in a country they call theirs. Since the civil war [1967-70], deployment of containment policy by Feds has imposed containment-yoke on its citizenry as its rogue agents in its policies gang-up against Igbo-Nation. These policies are designed to effectively keep her distanced from the corridors of power infinitum. Reason leading to the aforementioned aggressions against her, are their participation in Nigeria-Biafran War. The pre-civil war era that witnessed bogus 3Rs: reconstruction, rehabilitation and redeployment which failed woefully by poor implementations was just the beginning. The situation has gotten worse in the last decade when compared to 1960s period.

In 1999 PDP Convention, information has it that Dr. Alex Ekwueme appeared gearing up to securing party’s primary nomination at that Convention. However rogue party power-brokers ganged-up and denied him that chance as they dusted Obasanjo from jail house. This action was conducted without proper debriefing of a psychologically traumatized man. This fraudulent scheme of a fraudulent Convention triggered Ralph Uwazurike into disbelief of what he saw. At that Convention Ralph Uwazurike saw the embedded criminality inside Nigeria party politics and lost faith in a United Nigeria. He moved quickly and formed a non-violent movement called Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra [MOSSOB]. This organization was formerly launched at Aba Enyimba City , Abia State in the same year—1999 or thereabout. Before now, there exist Oodua Peoples Congress [OPC], an umbrella agency headed by Adams . Its quest is to free Yoruba people from Nigeria contraption with a separate State. In Ijaw-Land, Ogoni-Land and others, self-determination campaigns were supported by the people in their plight to free themselves from oppressive enterprise and give its regions and peoples some hope and sense of belonging using its resources and skills, all in top gear. Their aim is to aggressively pursue the interests of its peoples. It is on record that Ralph Uwazurike’s MOSSOB, remains the only organization that have deployed non-violent method toward accomplishing its ambition of a separate Republic of Biafra from Nigeria-State. The idea of Biafran Republic is to free its peoples from Nigeria ’s Voodoo-economics and Voodoo-politics. Indeed as for Igbo-Nation, every indicator points at a people and a heritage that is not wanted in the country called Nigeria .

Recently, OPC’s leader Adams was released from detention on health reasons; MEND leader, Dukunbo was also released from detention based on similar grounds—health. Uncharacteristically however, Ralph Uwazurike, leader of MOSSOB and his comrades have been held incommunicado without charges that warrants his continued detention without bailability leverages.  Ralph’s legal Team has complained of deteriorating health conditions of its client and has severally communicated to national and international community of his criminal detentions by feds to no avail. A continued detention of Ralph Uwazurike and continued killing of innocent Biafran children stands and considered as an aggression against Igbo-Nation and all justice and fair minded peoples. It is sheer wickedness that Ralph Uwazruike’s mother collapsed and died and he was never released to his family as the first son to bid the mother final farewell in her final passage to our ancestors. The death of Uwazruike’s mother was caused by her son’s illegal continued detention by the federal government. Feds killed Uwazurike’s mother by its inhumane actions against nobly family and their comrades.  Rogue institutions can destroy physical fresh but, true-human-spirit from God is beyond human destructions either by luciferian forces or man-made forces. We are encouraged by this because the Uwazurike’s Great mother’s resiliency and brilliancy will avenge and torment her killers—the evildoers. Already they are being tormented in their hide-outs. We call on Uwazurike’s immediate and unconditional release today. Feds must know that regardless of these circumstances, Igbo-Nation will not stand-by and watch its sons and daughters continually and, illegitimately incarcerated and murdered in cold- blood. These acts of illegal detentions and murder of innocent citizens stand as acts of provocation and must stop immediately. The nation has been WARNED! No nation would ever stand-by and watch its populations incinerated and rubbished without provocation. Institutional genocidal actions are committed against Igbo-Nation and other nations in Nigeria by rogue intelligence agents from SSS, mobile Police and others.

Igbo-Nation has been denied access time and again to lead the UNION to right the wrongs that Hausa-Fulani-Nation and Yoruba-Nation committed against the Republic in 48 years of its checkered existence. Their mismanagement and abrasive motives behind these mismanagements, including corrupt practices has defiled all known solutions. They have been incapacitated and can no longer provide needed leadership for the nation. It is time for change and/or altogether allow it die completely for good. Indeed, Rather than embrace political purists of Igbo-extraction like Ebitu Ukiwe former second in Command, Alozie Ogungbuaja—former Police PRO, and others with tested pertinent leadership-skills and credibility, Hausa-Fulani and Yoruba Nations prefers rogues of Igbo-stock in fracturing and mercilessly emptying the national and local treasuries altogether.  Bottom-line, when one facilitate, harness and come up with state-of-the-art and other means of looting abilities, you are seen as a Great Igbo. Typical examples in this order are Andy Uba and Chris Uba. Others are Emeka Offor and Orji Kalu, etc. We must remind folks that under ancient Igbo traditions—a tradition of class, one with and of integrity and respectability, the aforementioned fellows and their cronies have no business to be around leadership positions let alone mix their genetically crooked-mindedness into public-policy nor trusted with its implementations. But for Oodua and Arewa Nations any Igbo that will assist in plunging the national coffers, rubbishing and burning down infrastructures and other state properties are geniuses. In short, they are accepted and saddled with Chieftaincy Titles, and recognized by Abuja rogues as Great Igbo—and bests that can ever happen to Igbo-Nation and its environs. Conversely if you are the kind of Igbo championing the cause of truth, justice, national interests for societal well, defending a government with accountability, responsibility and transparency—your Igboness is seen as aberrational to the nations affairs, thusly unacceptable.  Typical example is an economic technocrat like—Ngozi Okonjo, etc.

Finally, it is abundantly clear that as corruption goes, it has today become pandemic even epidemic in the land irrespective of EFCC apologists. It is on record therefore, that it is an impossibility to extricate this fallen-ship from its wish—the UNION , demand for an exhaustive restructuring from head to toe will not occur without first destroying her. In conclusion, Ralph Uwazurike has been humiliated and abused by feds illegal incarceration; Igbo-Nation has been insulted and abysmally humiliated at all level including the rest of the citizenry. Igbo-Nation has been denied the Presidency, the Senate President, Vice President and what not. Why? What Ralph Uwazurike saw at 1999 PDP Convention are truths which are self-evident including—1] that Nigeria cannot be trusted with Igbo-Interests, II] Igbo-Nation is not wanted in the enterprise called Nigeria, III] Igbo-Nation must opt-out of Nigeria before it is too late. Igbo-Nation must therefore review its participation in this voodoo-nation called Nigeria . Additionally, we unequivocally demand the immediate and unconditional release of Ralph Uwazurike like his colleagues at OPC and MEND establishments, and an end to the killing of innocent Biafran children.

Sentiments apart Chief Ralf Uwazurike needs to be released.Especially when his yoruba counterpart is recommending a Dan Fodio styled yoruba conquest over the rest of Nigeria.

Gani Adams seeks establishment of Ifa Science College
By Adeyemi Adebanjo, Correspondent, Lagos

The National Coordinator of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC), Chief Gani Adams, has advocated for the establishment of an Ifa College of Modern Sciences in all the states of the federation to encourage the teaching of creation.

Adams spoke on Tuesday during this year’s edition of the annual Ifa festival held at Government Technical College Ado Soba, Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State.

According to him, the absence of such colleges has denied thousands of Ifa adherents the rights to contribute to the enrichment and development of the world which of course, has its adverse effect on the country in particular.

He stated further that by establishing Ifa College of Modern Sciences and the inclusion of Ifa teachings in existing education curricular, right from the primary to tertiary institution, "our clan will be able to advance its science and launch a world-acknowledged innovation. Medicine, engineering, arts technology, business and public administration as well as politics and good governance are all embedded in the corpus of Ifa".

The OPC leader also debunked claims that the Ifa deity cannot give human beings eternity noting that Ifa teaches human beings about the path to eternal life after death. "If we implement on the focuses of Ifa divination, it is obvious that African continent will take its rightful position in the comity of nations," he said.

Adams also said that with UNESCO recognition of Ifa as a means of divination, the black race has enough chance to amplify the culture that it calls its own. "Culture is the way we live our lives. It involves our language, names we answer, our aboriginal food, religious belief, socio-economic activities, marriage and child upbringing, health management, community development, leadership, justice administration and many more. All these have been defined by Ifa. Therefore, Ifa has the future of every race", he said.

He stated further that the world is interested in the black man culture. He said the world is learning the black’s man sciences for the development of their inventions for the black man to consume. He further stated that it is unfortunate that the black man has not devised an avenue to create usefulness of his cultural heritage to enliven his economy and widen his spiritual knowledge.

Highlight of the event was the conferment of Ifa titles on six worshippers of the deity. Those conferred with the titles include: Alani Ojeleye as Asheda, Ifashola Olumoyi as the Ajiri Awo, and Ifaniyi Durokifa as Sokiloju. Others include: Ifadebare Anif Agba Niku as Agbongbon Ifa, Ifashina Sese Ifa as Erinmi, and Alawode Adeniyi as Ashawo Ifa.

Hello Son of the Delta.

I really think you should tone down the Yoruba bashing that you have suddenly embarked upon on these boards lately.

My firm belief is that our exchanges in this village should enrich our knowledge base, broaden our intellectual horizon and engender a spirit of cooperation - all in service of our fatherland. This can only occur in an atmosphere that is devoid of name calling, insults or ethnic bashing.

I do not know what you seek to achieve with your diatribes against the Yoruba race, but i will urge you to cease and desist from the tribal bashing that is becoming somehow prevalent in your posts.

If Obasanjo, Adedibu, or even Tinubu has taken your goat, please call each and everyone of them by name and shame them accordingly. That is why their families gave them names so they can individually answer their papa's nomenclature. It is however unfair for you to continue bashing a whole race because you find the actions of a few detrimental to your own personal agenda and viewpoint.

Ganiyu Adams has given a personal view on why Ifa should be taught in schools across the federation. He is entitled to his opinion and am sure there are several people, Yorubas inclusive, who will disagree with him. The Ifa corpus embodies religion, philosophy, psychology, history and many other subjects that some people have made a life calling of, and it is by it's very nature educational.

For you to label this call as a "Dan Fodio style conquest" recommendation is therefore not only untrue, it is uncharitable.

The subject matter of the thread is freedom for Uwazuruike. Please let us stick to it.

Many thanks

Now SOD has to be sanctioned for "Yoruba bashing". The same people who would have of believe SOD is out of order are the same people who would have unapologetically gone one Igbo or Hausa bashing is the headline had read "Massob leading recommends establishment of Amadioha College of Modern Sciences in all the states of the federation" or "Sarduana school of political sciences in all states of the federation".

I think we have the opportunity to look deeper into the issues that SOD is raising rather that attacking his person. We should also learn not to do unto others what we do not want to be done to us.

BTW: I am concerned that no one seems to have reacted to the provocative statements attributed to Mr. Adams. Is it because it was missed or is it because his views are shared by many in NVS?
