A Friendly Relationship With Jerusalem Has Practical Relevance ... PDF Print E-mail

A Friendly Relationship with Jerusalem has a Practical Relevance, Regionally and Internationally: Belligerent Postures by its Surrounding Neighbors, Threatens its Existence, the Entire Gulf-Peninsula—and World Peace

From biblical times of the Hebrew nations, its exodus from the bondage in Egypt, and the subsequent takeover of the land of Canaan and other lands under the commandment of God, Israelites under the leaderships of Moses, Joshua and others were warned by Great Jehovah not to comprise this land-related commandment and other spiritual commandments. By application, that means, no matter what or who becomes a stumbling block whether enemy or friend, it must not blink. May I state here, that in an effort to facilitate the fulfillment of his promises to father Abraham, father Isaac, and father Jacob, the Lord was steady in handing-down these instructions; Elohim, expected its observance by Israel for world peace.  The mountain top and what constitutes today the present day Israel and beyond including Lebanon, is, very important to the Lord. If there is any hope for the security of Israel, the world, or a strengthened security and protected borders for that matter, she must remember and keep these commandments, if not, it shall know no peace. Arise now oh, Israel and defend thou tents, enlarge thou camps and defend thou territorial integrity. Know yeah, that internationally and locally, your position and location is the world’s center of gravity; thusly world peace and or its boiling points emanates from the activities within this place, be it political and/or economical relevance flashes out from this region. Always, remember that in wherever or whatever situation you embrace or found yourself, always remember these sacred instructions to observe them. Arise and go forth.

To buttress the above disposition[s], record show that by 1948 the United Nations [UN], with the assistance of the United States, Great Britain and other member states provided the buffer legitimacy within international laws and its instruments and other necessary legal ramifications here-to-for observed, ratified working documents for this purpose: creation of Israel. By this act, the State of Israel was born, or if you like it was formally created, accepted amongst world’s peoples—within the comity of nations. Regrettably today, chronicles of documentations and actions show that many Arab nations have refused to recognize the State of Israel. Recently, Iran, under its present leadership have threatened that Israel be wiped off of the earth-plate. Other terrorists groups including Hamaz and Hezbollah funded by Iran, a rouge state, with other Islamic fundamentalists continue to threaten the existence of Israel. May I state that Israel, in the face of this and present dangers, and threats reserves the right to track, find and elliminate those that threatens its existence in self-defense. If this requires her going to war and declaring total war against enemies of God’s peoples so be it. One thing must be made clear here by this writer, it is a duty and responsibility that the Great State of Israel must stand tall and defend its existence and most importantly must defend Jerusalem.

Israel must be on high alert, show readiness and preparedness in its current challenging milieus and future dangers. Its clarion call must be meshed with above all, the protection of its peoples, its territorial space including parts of Lebanon, parts of Syria, Iran, Iraq and the whole of East-Jerusalem. Jerusalem must not be divided under any circumstance. Its Capitol must be moved from Tel Aviv to the center of Jerusalem today without further delays. Thou kingdom’s come. Israel must embrace its God and keep its commandments. If it does that, its actions militarily, economically and otherwise will surely succeed to its full measure and glory. When Israel keeps these instructions from the God of our fathers, it shall enjoy all the promises made to our fathers, including father Abraham, father Isaac and father Jacob.  This is not time for retreats; it is time to stay steady and enlarge its camps in fulfillment of these instructions, for its survival depends on its actions and inactions internationally and domestically.

This writer regrets the killing of innocent civilians and children in the recent conflict within its borders especially recent expanded conflict in Southern Lebanon. Peoples, tongues and nations must know, that, no matter what happens today Israel can never be destroyed nor defeated until the end of time, until the return of our Messiah, thus says the Lord in His sacred scriptures through His prophets—His messengers.

Finally, I would encourage nation within the gulf peninsula and around the world, to change their belligerent attitudes toward Israel. I encourage them to stop this foolishness and learn wisdom; rather than display belligerent postures, it should develop cordial relationship[s] and friendship[s] with the State of Israel. Rather, than become enemies of God’s people and suffer grave consequences, however, they should revisit  the trajectory of events and history itself and be reasonable. It is important to inform nations that Israel is a friendly nation and would reciprocate the great tradition of friendships and gifts with nations that act friendly toward her. Experience shows that present day Egypt, Jordan, and others have learned from its past mistakes and the fallouts of bad behavior, wars, misconducts and the acts of aggression against the Jewish state, which, vis-a-vis attracts here-to-for, grave consequences. Today, the aforementioned nations have turned the corner and are great benefactors of this great and new tradition of friendship[s] and good neighborliness. Through improved friendly relationship with the Jewish State, the aforementioned nations have strengthened their geo-political, economic and strategic capacities and interests accordingly especially in the Middle-Eastern region. A friendly relationship[s] with Israel by its neighbors and vice-versa, will, facilitate, and create a climate that permits peaceful relationship[s]-friendship[s], co-existence, flourishing trade and commerce for the common good of its peoples, and a respectable international borders especially those found within and around-about the Gulf Peninsula.

I strongly believe that no one has anything to gain from a state (Isreal) which was founded on Injustice. It will take more than Biblical quotes to convince me that the state of Isreal is justified in its actions. This was a state that prior to 1948 didn't exsist at all, and since it's creaion it has been the major source of discord in the world. There can never be peace where injustice reigns.

The Arabs fighting against Isreal have a legitimate right to resist (a right recognised by the UN). I guess it is easy for you to sit in your study in the US and condemn these people. These are descendants of people driven out of their homes in the dead of the night years ago to create your present Isreal. Many of them live in a large prison called Gaza and the West bank. Refugees in their own land.

Many arabs would rather die fighting than see so called jews from Europe, America, Argentina and elsewhere take up what rightly belongs to them in the name of some biblical promised land. Justice shold be absolute and not one sided. I will rather die fighting than live under the disgrace of oppression. Please remeber that Nelson Mandela and the ANC were at a piont branded terrorists. In the words of Malcom X: "You can't separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom.

And as for those arab states the writer claims to have gained something from Isreal, they are just corrupt regimes that have been propped in place by the Americans, because if you are advocating the spread of "democrazy" then you should start with the Saudi's, but what we have today is a situation where the Saudis are the best friends of the Americans and the jews.

I'll advise the writer to read books of history, drop phrases such as terrorist, fundamentalist, and cool off watching ABC news. Then maybe he'll see the conflict in a different light.

Mallam AbuSiddiqah:

I hear you quite clearly. Lots of good points in your essay.

Question for you though, having articulated the rights of the Arabs to fight Israel for “their” land, do you think the same rights apply to the Africans in North Africa who were disposed of their land by the Arabs, in places such as Egypt, Morocco, etc and off course the mother of all land dispossession and criminality, the Darfur region of Sudan?

I will assume here that you are an African, if you are, are you proud of the state of the person of a typical African in a typical North African country where he is totally dominated by the Arabs, generally operate on the periphery of those countries, is never seen in any endeavor of significance and is definitely never heard from? Except, off course, in a football pitch.

How do you feel about the fact that in many Arab literature, the African is noted by the phrase "abd" which means slave? Are you outraged that this mind set is what dominates Arab thinking in his dealings with the African, especially in dispossessing him of his land, since slaves, by Arab standard, does not have right to landed property?

Are you surprised that no Arab head of state or foreign minister or Chief Iman has publicly spoken out against the criminal dispossession and wanton killing of the Darfurian Sudanese people or the rape of their women by Arab Janjaweeds, irrespective of the fact that they share Islamic religion with the Arabs?

Is it not a fact that the action of the Arab Janjaweeds of 2004 to date in Darfur is nothing new as these dastardly acts are reminiscent of the actions of Arabs of yore in grabbing land from Africans and enslaving them in the process? Is this not how North Africa became majority Arab?

I will wait to hear from you; hopefully it won’t be until hell freezes over.

Dear Nkire,

I'll like to go straight to your first question by saying that the same right to freedom should exist for every human being. My Articulating the rights of the Arabs was just in direct response to the write up, and this does not confer any special liking whatsoever on the Arabs. Injustice should be fought where ever it resides.

My ehtnic background not withstanding, the situation in Darfur should be a source of shame to any right thinking individual who has the right to speak out against it but decides to keep quiet wheter they be Arab leaders , imams. pastors and the African govts. As a famous quote goes : in a moral crisis neutrality is equal to complicity.

I would like to say that throughout history, no one has suffered as much as the black man. Blacks have been used and abused, and this offence has not been commited by Arabs alone. The Europeans under the guise of Christainity enslaved the black man with the triple stem approach of trade, evangelism and colonialism. And today we have a situation where africans would gladly jump on the slave ships if they happened to reappear.

The word abd could be used in a variety of ways. Just as all Muslims believe that they are servants of Allah (Abdullah), a role which they accept and cherish. I'm sure some misguided Arabs could use this same word in a derogatory manner to refer to the black man. Just as you would find cheeky caucasians still refering to the black man as a Nigger.

I hope hell hasn't frozen over in your estimation, and i'm glad that you believe in the concept of hell, because not all injustice will be redressed in this world. Think how the Anglosaxons would stand before God and defend the genocide of the native indians in North America, or how the British would defend the decimation of the aborigines in Australia, or how Obasanjo will explain that after 8 years in office it appears that things are getting better only in his own eyes.

Best regards

Mallam AbuSiddiqah:

Thanks for your prompt reply. You are truly a gentleman and very scholarly.

You see, the reason I posed those questions is not to dump on the Arabs or insinuate that Arabs are the only ones that have committed incomprehensible and outrageous crimes against others.

Rather, the premise of my questions was to bring to the fore, the state of the black man, which you aptly grasped. For that, lots of kudos to you. The state of the black man is that often times we cry more for the dead than the deceased family. While we are at it, we have dead bodies piled high in our neighborhoods with no wet eyes to be found.

The contrast you drew with Christian Europeans is entirely accurate. However, the one discernible fact is that the Europeans have physically left us, while the Arab colonization and hegemonic mentality remain unabated.

Yes, Lebanon and Arabs are in turmoil and in misery; so too are our fellow Africans in North Africa, with the Arabs being the perpetrators. While Lebanon is getting sympathy from the world, African women are still being raped in Darfur and entire villages are being wiped out, all these with very little publicity. The Arabs want sympathy from the rest of the world but are quick to clam-up whenever you mention Sudan and the push towards Chad. It reeks of hypocrisy to the nth degree that’s why the Arab cry seems hollow to some people.

What is alarming is that the Arab push southwards is not new and will not stop until Africans recognize that the Arabs are our adversary, who should be treated as such.

Unfortunately, I don’t see that awakening anytime soon.

Cheers
