Obama may have lost Texas and Ohio to Clinton, but I am glad that his campaign still has a lead of more than 150 delegates, and there are only 611 pledged delegates left to win in the upcoming contests. We need Obamas real leadership in the White House. We need someone who has consistently stood up to special interests and who will unite Americans of all parties and viewpoints to bring about change. Senator Obama is the one candidate with the ability to bring America together, stand up to the special interests and bring the kind of change to Washington that we can believe in. Yes, as a supporter of the Barack Obama's campaign, I was completely devastated when the results from Texas and Ohio were tallied, but I am glad that he is still in the lead. Right now, it's essential for every single supporter of Obamas campaign to step up and help fight this two-front battle. In the face of attacks from Hillary Clinton and John McCain, every Barack Obamas supporter ought to be ready to show their support. The task for the Clinton campaign yesterday was clear. In order to have a plausible path to the nomination, they needed to score huge delegate victories and cut into Obamas lead. They failed. It's clear, though, that Senator Clinton wants to continue an increasingly desperate, increasingly negative -- and increasingly expensive -- campaign to tear Obama down. Two more states and 45 more delegates will be off the table. If you are a supporter of Obamas campaign- your donation is needed. We need a Democratic candidate who will present the starkest contrast to those failed policies of the past. And that candidate is Barack Obama.
