Why I Always Blame & Shame Obasanjo PDF Print E-mail

WHY I ALWAYS BLAME AND SHAME OBASANJO FOR ALL WRONGS IN NIGERIA

By BISIKAY, London

I was in Nigeria recently. Last week precisely.

It was a harrowing experience, far beyond what I had been experiencing before over the past donkey years after my relocation to Europe . Forget about the terribly bad roads. Forget about the debilitating fuel shortage. Forget about the frustrating power outages. Forget about the nastiness of armed robbers.

I am seriously, terribly, morbidly worried about the political TERRORISM of OBASANJO’s presidency, as demonstrated by the ADEDIBU’s contemptuous, continuous imprisonment of OYO state’s government, the workers and the people. I spent one week in IBADAN and witnessed the incessant power drunkenness of the Adedibu’s terror machinery. Very scary!!!

I went to visit my cousin, Senator Lekan BALOGUN, a political veteran and a leader of thought in Yorubaland. I told him about how scandalised I was by the Adedibu phenomenon. I blamed everything on Obasanjo. I called Obasanjo all sorts of names: TRAITOR, VULTURE, PRODIGAL, BASTARD, MONSTER, SOSNOFABITCH, etc, etc. But my dear cousin would have nothing of it. He rose stoutly to Obasanjo’s defence. He saw him as a great leader. I was said to be too much westernised to appreciate the man’s leadership qualities. He interpreted our difference of opinion about Obasanjo’s presidency from a Eurocetric- Afrocentric dichotomy. I insisted on the universal human democratic values as the only yardstick to judge Obasanjo by. He stood his grounds and I stood mine too. Then we parted.

Two days later, Obasanjo’s THUGFATHER, Adedibu, sent his thugs, in the presence of the police, in the hallowed grounds of the Oyo State House of Assembly, nearly KILLED Senator Lekan Balogun. He was almost hacked to death by Adedibu’s (and, by proxy, Obasanjo’s) KILLERS, but for the protection he had from his determined guards who bore the brunt of the attempted ASSASINATION. I happened to be in the nearby Governor’s Office, hearing the commotion. I later went to the House of Assembly grounds to witness the aftermath.

There is a saying: when they came for the communists, I said nothing, as I am not a communist; when they came for the trade unionists, I said nothing, as I am not a trade unionist; when they came for the Jews, I said nothing, as I am not Jewish; and then they came for me, but there was no one to say anything or stand up for me.

Dr Lekan Balogun has since been speaking for himself, so I may not need to speak for him. He has taken his case right to Obasanjo’s door. He has called on Obsanjo’s law enforcement agents to arrest Adedibu as the sponsor of the crime. He has named the ring leaders of the thuggish CRIMINALS. He has dared Obasanjo to sweep this under the carpet, as we think it would be, and he would take a private legal arrangement to deal with the matter. I am very sorry that he has to go through this terrible scenario. But it helps to buttress my point that Obasanjo is a KHAKISTOCRAT, a laggard, and not a leader. Maybe my senator cousin, defender of Obasanjo, can afterall see my view point.

Adedibu should in a normal democracy be warming his septuagenarian bones in KIRIKIRI of better still KUJE prison. He has carried out too many criminal activities to enumerate here, including alleged murders and massive treasury looting. Yet he is in Obasanjo’s view: “a force to recon with” for everybody in Nigeria . He is too sacred for the security forces, the police as well as the EFCC can not DARE touch Adedibu lest they not only lose their jobs, but also, possibly, their lives! When a nation has degenerated to this level, are we not right to blame and shame Obasanjo, being the president of Nigeria , and the protector of Adedibu and such other criminals who are the presidential tools of political terrorism. Nigeria has NEVER gone through such a tyrannical regime as Obasanjo’s. Even Abacha knew his limits and operated covertly.  This presidency blatantly glorifies LAWNESSNESS. Adedibu is not the only thugfather used by Obasanjo, there are well known clones of him all over the country.

How can one explain Obasanjo’s INABILITY to deal with the likes of Adedibu, even when they go on and on and on and on in besmearing the “good” name of the Nigerian president in carrying out their numerous neffarious  activities. I have since learnt of a few of the theories of explanations: Obasanjo is fulfilling the pact he made with Adedibu to deliver the Southwest for the moribound THIRD TERM misadventure, or Obasanjo has eaten Adedibu’s bewitched AMALA and gbegiri, or Obasanjo has been drawn ‘too close’ to the older Baba’s BOSE, or Obasanjo shares from the Adedibu LOOTS ( sorry, spoils of war, as the garrison commander!) from OYO to EKITI states, or Obasanjo and Adedibu have taken sacred oaths of satanic covenant in their secret society, or Obasanjo wants to use Adedibu as a weapon of mass rigging in the Southwestern states of Nigeria for April 2007 so-called elections. I believe there are other theories. You may add your own theories.

Whether these theories are plausible or not is another matter. But ADEDIBU appears to be a GOD that Obasanjo WORSHIPS as previously written by Okey Ndibe ( Dec 2005) and Babs Ajayi (Jan 2006). A sane person would have called such a dubious god to order, but Adedibu carries on. He has even cornered an INEC private VOTERS registration for thugs and rogues in his hell hole in Molete. That we now know about it is because he has carried out the task too idiotically far and beyond his remit, daring the press to report the felony, and the presidency to try and try him over it. He has continually dared Obasanjo, as the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to touch him, by going too far with all his criminal offences.

Adedibu has during AKALA’s ‘governorship’ become stupendously ENRICHED. He has acquired so much wealth and strength that he reportedly boasts that fifty million naira gift to people by him is now no longer a big deal. He has added to his vehicular collections, exotic automobiles reportedly used by his ‘boys and girls’. He was awarded CON-TARCTS reputedly running into BILLIONS of the state’s funds. He allegedly held the Local Governments hostages taking monthly RANSOMES of hundreds of millions of naira from them. And when Senator Rasheed LADOJA now pledged to PROBE the financial recklessness and treasury looting  that went on behind his back, Adedibu is threatening to re-impeach him, so that no one will ever revisit the FINANCIAL CRIMES. Yet, there is the EFCC and a president who says he is fighting CORRUPTION. Yes, Obasanjo is fighting corruption indeed! ( With the probe of ANNENIH, BODE GEROGE, FAYOSE, ADEDIBU, IBORI, SARAKI, AKALA, ODILI, etc, etc, put off, for the convenience of Obasanjo and PDP’s April electoral fortune, till 2020, or there about!)

I confess that I am guilty of  using rude and abusive language for the president’s iniquities in my article, But when people have no shame or self respect what else can you do to speak to them other than use their own dirty language?  Remember that Obasanjo’s governance style is BOLEKAJA ( common, let us fight!). He used to use one Fani Kayode to verbally attack all Obasanjo’s critics. Remember? So what ever one calls Obasanjo should not undully bother my readers. My internet friends and bloggers, I would like you guys to please try and understand my own frustration too in trying to tackle the Obasanjo problem. True there is anger in me and my write- ups but remember the man has proved that he is a real but unnecessary danger to our democratic values and the people’s general well being.

There is a grave danger in trying to give Obasanjo some benefit of praise for his ‘MONUMENTAL’ accomplishments and political deformations of Nigeria . Some prefer us to overlook his ‘MINOR’ errors of judgement in his eight long years of mis-governance, that Nigeria is a very difficult place to rule over, and that if you or I was in his shoes we might not do any better. BULLSHIT!!! Obasanjo knew what he was getting himself into. It is an INSULT on Nigerians mentality to say that Obasanjo has performed well. Considering all the prevailing criteria and conditions, has Chief Alex EKWUEME or Chief Olu FALAE or Mallam Mohammed BUHARI been the lord at ASO ROCK, they would not have done as bad because Obasanjo became a most SELFISH president, not minding the legal and constitutional principles that bound him to act by always putting NIGERIA first. Truly, Obasanjo started well, he derailed from 2003.

NOW, the problem is HOW can we RID ourselves of this NUISSANCE called OBASANJO in April?

I have this hunch that if you search the PDP governors' houses that you will see these INEC DDMs. The search should begin in Rivers State Government House. The search should also be extended to houses of Chris Uba, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu , Olusola Saraki, and finally Otta Farms. You will be shocked at your findings. Mark my words!

Bisikay, there are several arrangements in place to escort OBJOKE outta Aso-Villa to his fillage in Ibokun come May 2007.

The nuisance value of Adedibu is what OBJOKe is riding on. Adebibu of course knows how to use the native intelligence that he has to make the govt to kowtow to all his wishes etc etc.

Bisikay,
You are heard loud and clear. Yours reminds me of the article by one Folabi some weeks ago during Martin Luther King's birthday. He Folabi was equally fuming with anger about the state of the nation in the hands of PDP. He wrote a master piece. Yes and I repeat a master piece imaginning himself in the eagle square, Abuja and calling on all lovers of peace and liberty, mimicking Dr. King's "I have a dream". Guess what; no one, not a single villager gave him a pat on the back or said anyrthing to identify with his frustration. Before you know it that inspirational call for us to agree to revolt howbeit without any gun but with our human spirit in unity of purpose was quickly sent to the achives.

I have come to suspect that many on NVS are here to defend OBJ and his group despite their pretentious articles that they tint to look otherwise. Whenever you report the evil deeds by OBJ and his PDP gang, no matter how serious, they resort to saying that it is nothing new, as if it is OK for OBJ/PDP to continue in their nefarious activities since they are already know to be such culprits.
It makes one wonder if there is no infiltration of their agents or some conspiracy to neutralise anymore attempt by anyone to expose (OBJ/PDP) evils of the day.

Bisikay, do not be demoralized. Vent your steam as you have on this square and leave the rest for them in their pretence. If they ask you some of those hopeless questions as they do Okey Ndibe, do not even attempt to answer them. Also next time you are enumerating members of OBJ gang, do not leave out Andy Uba and all those his mouth piece.

Take heart and thank God that they did not succeed in killing your relative. Remember Bola Ige's death that has remained covered till date. Eledumare yio da'jo gbogbo nwon, meaning that God will judge them all. But we must not fold our arms from doing something with our God given capability to stop continuation of murder in Nigeria.

The writer of the above words should not feel contrite about his attitude to the greatest danger confronting Nigeria and Nigerians today. The murderous kleptocrat called Obasanjo deserves the most negative expletives to convey his depraved and hedonistic misrule. Bisikay also needs to be reminded that the atrocities and lawlessness of the Obasanjo tyranny predate 2003. Consider, for instance, the cold-blooded massacres of innocent, unarmed civilians the Butcher of Aso Rock (boar) ordered in Odi, Zaki-Biam and surrounding communities.

As to how to help get rid of the vermin and his confederates, a coalition of patriots like the type currently taking place in all the regions of the country will form the basis of the necessary democratic initiative to consign these dregs of our polity to the dustbin of history. Remember, before the late Bola Ige was hacked to death in Ibadan by killers with suspected PDP-links, he had reportedly indicated his intention to resign from the bumbling regime of Okikiolakan Aremu Baba. Bola Ige was about to return to the S-W and help prepare the AD - his party - for the 2003 elections. Ige had realized the need to block the PDP from having a foothold in the S-W, if not in the rest of the region. The lesson of all this is the fact that a unity of purpose, vigilance and a determination on the part of the people to defend their vote will be critical in the effort to get rid of the centrifugal forces that are currently holding the nation hostage. That is why Nigerians should continue to shun any reactionary discourse that gives comfort to the PDP mafia led by Obasanjo.

Biskay & Discerning Villagers
I think we`ve lost the plot with regards to our country years ago !
More recently 8 years ago when this OBJ monster emerged as our presido I expressed my concerns to any one who cared to listen. It appears there is more to come if concerted positive action is NOT taken.
I wonder what our story would be like another 4 - 8 years from now. God please help Nigeria and NIGERIANS

AMEN
