The Nigerian judiciary has proved that political terrorism has its own limit, and that it will certainly suffer severe damage when confronted with utter courage and fortitude. Governor Ladoja has taught Nigerians an eternal lesson about tyranny
This is the beginning of the end of the perfidious demoncratic polluters (or pee-dee-pee gang) of the Nigerian political landscape. They have done the nation too much havoc already. As the formidable Ladoja
camp
have
proved, pdp is conquerable in 2007
Have Obasanjo, Adedibu, Bode George, Alao Akala, Bayo Ojo, Ehindero, Jonathan Johnson, Tokyo Akinsola and all their collaborators and co-conspirators ever wondered why governor Ladoja became a hero and a rallying point of rascals and radicals across the political, ideological, cultural, geographical and demographical divides in the country and beyond from the beginning to the end?
The answer is very simple: it is “the MKO Abiola effect”. IBB, the so-called “devil-genie” of minna, by annulying chief abiola’s beautiful and wonderful election of June 12, 1993, turned the man into the hero of our time. Nobody likes an oppressor. Everybody suffers with the oppressed. Look deep into the annals of human nascient and ancient history, we human beings like to see evil conquered by any means, so that the unjust is adjusted, that the wrongs are righted. Whatever the human and inhuman frailties of the victim, humanity always see the suffering of the oppressed as their own. So no one wants to see, in dramas, the protagonist being vanquished to the end of the play by the hated antagonist ( or more appropriately, antagonists, as they often have minor sidekicks). Therefore, babangida will forever remain the unforgiveble villain ( so let him to try running in 2007 elections). Meanwhile, MKO remainsthe hero of Nigerian political history.
(Only pathological sadists like Obasanjo will not acknowledge mko abiola’s heroism, even when he has been the greatest beneficiary of the mko abiola sacrifice for the enthronement of justice and democracy. For no just cause, except for being upstaged, Obasanjo has refused to hail mko abiola. But Nigerians have refused to forget mko. May Obasanjo be treated to the same unacknowlwedment / denoument he has done to mko)
Sorry, i digressed. Now, back to the Ladoja saga, it does not matter that we hate pdp, Ladoja’s so called party with their Adedibus and Obasanjos, but we love him to overcome, from professor wole soyinka to my humble self, from aukland to ancorage, from January to December. And he has conquered the pervidious aso rock of our time.
But, lets not rejoice yet! No!! Not yet!!! As we all must remember how stubbornly unforgiving Obasanjo is. He does not give up easily, especially when it concerns him lossing his medusaesque face. And adedibu too should be watched, very closely. Same for akala. The three musketeers plus bode george remain a danger to our victory.
Of all the numerous attrocities perpetrated by this presidency, the Ladoja saga remains
Obasanjo’s greatest shame. We hope someday he, like pinochet, will be called to account.
