BLAME OBASANJO FOR BOLA IGE’S ASSASINATION

Exactly five years ago, on 23 December 2001, Chief BOLA IGE, who was then the out-going Attorney General and Minister for Justice in Nigeria, was brutally murdered, gruesomely ASSASINATED in his bedroom, for political gains by agents of gubernatorial and presidential aspirants in the Peoples Democratic Party. How time flies…five years already!

But, in spite of all the very glaring links and leads, ever since, NO ONE has been CONVICTED for the heinous crime. We have had three Inspector Generals of the Nigerian Police Force, namely Musiliu Smith, Tafa Balogun and Sunday Ehindero ( note that all are Yoruba like Chief Bola Ige, and like Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, then and now). The first and best of the three who was very willing to help convict the criminals was unceremoniously retired by Obasanjo as he was about to reveal details of the assasins and their conspirators to the whole world. All police officers involved in the investigation were also REMOVED under one excuse or the other. Mr Obasanjo has never convinced the world about the rational for the sudden removal except to cover up for the ASSASINS, it would appear!

This act on the part of the President appeared to me as a part of the assassination-non prosecution script, thereby making the solving of the murder riddle very difficult, if indeed not impossible. The murder would not have taken place without the promise of PROTECTION for the murderers. That protection promise could not have come from any quarters lower than the PRESIDENCY of  Obasanjo. He indeed should, in his CONSCIENCE, carry the blame for Chief Bola Ige’s murder. At least for the predicted and deliberate escape of the culprits from justice, he stands accused. ALAJOBI, the Yoruba ancestors, will surely PUNISH these CONSPIRATORS.

Recently, the current Inspector General, Ehindero was quoted as saying in an interview that “we CAUGHT Bola Ige’s killers”. And that it was the legal process that let them off the hook. And that one of the accused, the principal suspect, was REWARDED with a senatorial post by Obasanjo’s party, PDP, the PERVERTS DEMONIC PARADE, even while all electoral processes were insurmountable, constitutionally and operationally by the ‘murder suspect’ candidate. Since Ehindero made his submission, no rebuttal has been made anywhere by anybody. Meaning we all agree.

(Please note that a similar political PERFIDY is unfolding in Ekiti State where Chief Dayo Okondo, a PDP Board of Trustees member, formerly serving the then governor of Ekiti State, Fayose, as his “commissioner for violence”, now standing TRIAL for not one, not two, not three, but for FOUR MURDER cases and has registered to run as a SENATOR, collecting his application form by proxy from prison/police custody. It appears to be a MIRACLE that he loses in the party primary. But he may end up as the candidate for  the real election on 21 April 2007. All these are the re-enactment of the 2002/2003 OMISORE Effect, and reminds us poignantly of the Prof Wole Soyinka dictum: PDP is a nest of killers! OBASANJO’S NIGERIA, WE HAIL THEE…)

We wait for the end of the Obasanjo presidency then, as in the case of Babangida on the parcel bomb murder of Dele Giwa, the ex-president should be pursued to the end of the earth, till he CONFESSES what his role was in the Bola Ige assassination, or at least his role as the  PROTECTOR GENERAL of the well known assasins. This is an albatross that the man who betrayed his benefactor will have to carry around till the end of his days on earth, even up till his day of judgement. (When his time comes up what will he tell Chief Bola Ige and his wife at the otherside about the BETRAYAL?)

Let the whole world be reminded that since 2001, following Chief Bola Ige’s murder and the escape from justice of the killers, more than FIFTY more people have been ASSASINATED all over the country, simply because the EXECUTIVE killers are immune from detection, prosecution and incarceration. The ruling class has an arm that is PARAMILITARY, with functional garrison COMMANDERS who are above police and state security controls. The spate of assassinations across the land are premeditated and are all carried out against the opposition to the ruling PDP of the President, Mr Obasanjo.

The killings in Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti and Ondo states in the South West of Nigeria can be traced, directly and indirectly, to the door step of the THUGFATHER at IBADAN, one of Obasanjo’s main political assistants, and who the president had lionised at Ibogun last year as a “FORCE to  recon with in the South West” of Nigeria. After the open endorsement of the man’s prowess, a few more ASSASINATIONS have taken place, with police commissioners in some cases as willing co-conspirators. That is why we have earlier commented in articles that we should BLAME OBASANJO FOR WILLIAM’S DEATH, and BLAME OBASANJO FOR DARAMOLA’S MURDER.

In the case of Chief Bola Ige, he was on his way to joining the UNITED NATION’s International Law Commission. After his murder, the position was passed on to another African nation. Now, Mr Obasanjo’s VOODOO jurist, Mr Bayo Ojo, has, even in spite of our protest and warnings to the UN,  inherited what should have been Chief Bola ige’s, almost exactly five years later. What a COINCIDENCE!

Also, with Chief Bola Ige not around to re-organise, re-energise and re-strategise the YORUBA front for AD’s electoral success for the 2003 elctions, the main beneficiary of the big gap engendered by Chief Bola Ige’s death was Mr Obasanjo, in CAPTURING the whole of the SOUTHWEST for his presidency – including some 650,000 stolen votes in Ogun state. What a CONVENIENCE!

Under the Obasanjo presidency, political TERRORISM was perfected as a tool to establish a political pedigree as we have seen in ANAMBRA, OYO and EKITI states, to mention the very glaring examples. The man who has been claiming a legacy of REFORMING Nigeria, economically, has only been very successful in DEFORMING Nigeria, politically. This achievement has brought untold sufferings to many who have become emergency WIDOWS and ORPHANS under the hands of Obasanjo and PDP enforcers, like ADEDIBU and UBA.

By the way, we learn that the notorious SARGEANT ROGERS, Abacha’s killing machine now works at ASO ROCK. Remember the assassin of Kudirat Abiola, who also nearly killed Alex Ibru and Senator Abraham Adesanya? Yes, that’s him. He is a free man. Don’t be surprised if he becomes the ADC to the President. He has also allowed the IBADAN KILLER to go on his killing spree, unfettered

It appears that HUMAN LIFE means nothing to this President given how many innocent lives have been lost under his watch just for political expediency. It is even happening right now with yesterday’s  attempt on the VP’s aide,  PARIYA’s life in Abuja. It happened in Lagos this week with BAKARE’s murder. I just can not understand why this man appears to like human BLOOD so much! Who’s next!

Please do not tell me that all these murders have NOTHING to do with the President. At least Oyinlola in Osun State was able to get conviction against OLABGAJU’s ‘killers’ this year to score a political point. Yet Obasanjo could not do that for Chief Bola IGE. He could have at least MOVED against those who sponsor or perpetrate these political killings. He controls the POLICE and should have sacked a few of the conspiratorial police COMMISSIONERS who aid and abet the reign of TERROR of the known killers gangs here and there. He does seem to be HELPLESS to secure our dear lives. We shall therefore be very GLAD to see his back in 2007. Then maybe we shall have JUSTICE for Chief BOLA IGE, possibly through a TRUTH COMMISSION or a JUDICIAL REVIEW.

Bola Iges' family backed out from pursuing the case, not because they are not convinced of the justice of their cause, but sometimes, when you appreciate the awesome force arrayed against you, its better to be a coward and live. Otumba Omisore may not have actually sponsored the killing of Bola Ige, but he became an accessory after the fact. His enemity with Bola Ige became a useful diversion. He knew the actual killers, but was amply rewarded for his silence. The guy Kunle, who confessed to have killed Bola Ige, was rewarded handsomely by the Oyo State government, given a mansion and is now being groomed for a House of Representative Post. If only these *****s could get a memo from Abacha...if after 5years they haven't found Ige's killers I guess the only excuse will be perhaps he committed suicide. Why not it's niger now, what a bunch of wasted generation and definately history will never be kind to any of them and their generations, so much innocent blood it's ridiculous. How much money really does a man need? Whe he'll probaly not live beyond 85 if he's lucky? It's a path of desstruction they all chosen for themselves, the end they surely know of and it will surely happen may be now, may be later, time will tell...
