Oyiza Adaba! Thanks a million for obliging us here with these bevy of beautiful pictures!

President Obasanjo among the economic, political and cultural movers and shakers in the United States!

AND as always, our president is the TRUE cultural ambassador of Nigeria, nay Africa.... as always, above everything else, he is in his resplendent African attires for all his pomps and pegeantries!

At last, one can see something nice and refreshing here other than the "bang-bang-diggy-diggy" political arguments, insults and acrimony that are usually associated with this site.

These are very beautiful pictures and professionally taken too. Just looking at these pics really brighten up my mood.

I know we all have our preferences but there are some of us who will rather love to see positive things about Nigeria nay, Africa and more so, from the perspectives of the western world. It can be very tiresome to be daily bogged down with too many negativity either in form of pics or written words.

I personally do quite appreciate the efforts of this young lady to make these pics available for public consumption.

I Love Nigeria...
I really don't give a %$^ how well President Obasanjo dresses. I am not sold on that. He and his proxies have spend huge amount of time and money traveling from one end of the world to another. Now, tell me: what lessons have they learnt? What economic idea, political philosophy and social ideal have they transferred to Nigeria?

Just look at them...enjoying the comfort of the Clinton Center. Do we have such a place or comparable place in Nigeria? They traveled by air and by road...do we have such roads and airport in Nigeria? They drank and had so much to eat...do ordinary Nigerians have access to clean food and nutritious food?

The hall is full of some of the "best and the brightest" this society have to offer...tell me, how well is the Nigerian government treating her "best and brightest" when Femi-Fani Kayode is not abusing them. When he is not, the government is doing her best to frustrate them and encourages them to go on "exile." Obasanjo and successive governments have not, and does not have the sense to encourage such conducive atmosphere for people to hang around in and help develop good and workable public policies.

Paul, did the security service harass OBJ and his entourage? Did armed-robber waylay them? Were there legal and illegal roadblocks manned by police demanding bribes? Did they see the security outfit beating the daylight out of journalist and critics? And tell me: how many times did the siren sound and the roads closed when the "big shots" were making their ways to the Center?

When our big-shots come to America they expel a sigh of relief. They smile. They laugh. They shine. They eat and drink and party. Given the chance, most of them would rather administer Nigeria from the USA...that probably accounts for why Obasanjo is always on the move. Even he hates, and can't stand Nigeria.

What does it mean that he dresses in African attire? Will his Agbada feed millions of Nigerians that are half-educated, non-educated, unemployed, and all those who live in a state of hopelessness and abandonment?

Obasanjo is your president; just as he is my president. His success is my success. However, let's be clear and be honest about one thing: the man is a monumental failure. No amount of smiles and Agbada and foreign travels will mask what he really is: a failure!

Tell him..tell him to give us good roads. Tell him to give the people first class schools and research institutions. Tell him that our airports are air-mortuaries. He should know that millions of our boys and girls have no decent jobs. That human life is in Nigeria is 2-for-a-naira. Tell him..tell him that even the poor folks in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana and elsewhere treats their dogs and cats better that his government treats Nigerians.

Agbada or no Agbada he is a shame. A damn bloody shame -- so much so that when he lands in Nigeria, he will forget 99% of whatever good he was told.

Former President Bill Clinton, Quincy Jones, New York Mayor Bloomberg, AU Chairman, movers and shakers in the U.S. politics, show business, industries etc.....all with Obj?

Oritshe! Let me guess what will be the reactions of some people to this page:

1. The young lady who supplied these pics (Adaba) will be roundly condemned for trying to scuttle the guerrila war against Obj and she will especially be sentenced by the internet bandits for having the temerity to work against the Nigerian "revolution". At a time when some of her mates or contemporaries are at war, shouting "aluta continua" and other time-worn slogans and cliches, she is busy showing that something good can (and indeed) came out of Obasanjo's visit to the U.S. I'm sorry for her! Well....although that young lady I'm seeing in those pics appear to know what she is doing and will not care a hoot!

2. The dignitaries will not be spared either. Clinton, Quincy Jones and all those other powerful individuals will be at the receiving end of abuses and accusations from those who insist that nothing good can (and must) never be said or written about their country. Clinton esapecially will be branded a betrayer and all that. So, I'm sorry for him and the rest of them too....welll....although, our people say "it's only a person that has the time to look at a whinning wife's face, that will know she is crying."

3. And as for Obasanjo, all these cute pics might not do him any good on this site. Instead, the pics will further infuriate and aggravate the anti-Obasanjo crusade. I can imagine some of the "righteous brothers" already fuming and saying how dare he mobilize Clinton and all those global movers and shakers around him? So, I'm sorry for Obasanjo.....except that hating that man (from experience) can only give one ulcer and high blood pressure.....

So, all said and done, I'm also sorry for those "alakatakiti", posturing guys out there.

Najibullah of Afghanistan, Shah of Iran, Ferdinand Marcos and even Abacha took so many glossy photos with so -called "dignitaries" before their eventual demise and disgrace. On judgment day for OBJ the photos here and all the dignitaries that are looking the other way while he commits crimes against Nigerians will no where to be found!

Let Oyiza Adaba take as many photos of OBJ as possible, let her become the new "Ovation" at the NVS. Nigerians are not fools. The last days are approaching, and very fast too!

Lets at least give the young lady some credit for sharing these pictures. Oh, while we're at it, lets throw in some credit to OBJ too for always donning traditional attires.

Now that the credits have been thrown around, can we get back to reality and address the numerous problems plaguing Nigeria. Obasanjo can start by telling Nigerians he is not interested in perpetuating himself in office.
