The final interviews will be published shortly and the entire project will be concluded with an elaborate conversation with Professor Chinua Achebe.

This month, the Foundation will turn to a generation of future leaders within Nigeria and the Diaspora, whose life and work offer the hope of solutions to the grave issues raised by our elders.

I am lost for words!

....... this is but a drop in the ocean. The amount of talent outside the shores of Nigeria in almost any field is staggering!!

Keep up the good work, O jare!

One of these days, enough will really be enough!! These politicians make me sick!!!

Kudos to the Achebe foundation; I cannot wait for the acheivers in other fields.

Today, I make bold to say that I am proud to be a Nigerian. Oh, God. Oh that our country would sit up and be counted.

At a time when Nigerians are treated as the scum of the earth, a laughing stock and a by word among the comity of nations, here are our brothers and sisters, blazing trails.

Fellow country men and women, shall we not take up arms and wrest our beloved Nigeria from these charlatans parading themselves as leader/rulers? Is it not high time we DO SOMETHING about the ever declining state of affairs in our NATIVE LAND? Oh! My soul weeps and my spirit is so vexed.

Very good work indeed. These are the type of Nigerians that should be awarded with medals and not the certified theifs who collect barrages of honourally degrees.
Achebe foundation, please check in the Ohio area for a certain Dr.Ben C.Nwomeh a peadiatrician. He made the best medical result in Medilag in the 80's and has been keeping up ever since. You would quickly include him after checking.
Thanks for the good work

The report on the excellent marks of some Nigerians caught my interest and i am very proud of you guys on a job well done.

Please,do check on the person of Dr.Benedict Nwomeh who i believe is heading a hospital in Ohio,USA. He is a peadiatrician and has very amazing credentials. Amongst others,he was recently honuored with a fellow of the Ghana medical society because of his help to many of their bests.

He is Nigerian and attended Unilag with the best result till this day.The late Dele Giwa gave him an award for his excellent records and died seven days later.I can go on but please check him out.Maybe google search would be a good starting point.

This is a good start. In fact, the person who wrote these profiles left out so many important details on these achievers. They also left out so many more worthy Nigerian medicos.

Take the example of Dr. Benedict Nwomeh. First, he is a paediatric surgeon, not a paediatrician. He is Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of England, Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow, Fellow of Americanl College of Surgeons, Fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition his cleagues back elected him Fellow of West African College of Surgeons. He uses only MD after his name but the degrees will occupy 2 full lines. Whoever wrote these profiles I don't think really looked at the CVs of these people. I mean, Dr Nwomeh has so many research accomplishments and so many awards and should probably be placed close to the top of the list.

Ant way this is splendid to begin with and I hope you continue the good work.
